I use Turtle wax on my treads once a week...... stops the skipping. The braking distances get a little long, but at least I don't have to listen to it.......
Good write up and on point with my Porsche and Taycan experience.
I sold a 991.1 to move to a Taycan. And was leery of a RWD after driving a Turbo. I figured if the RWD was fun enough, I would pull the trigger. Not that I was going to drop 150k on a used Turbo, but a RWD is plenty fast for my...
I love that we were all driving our first German "shitboxes" 20 years ago, and now we've graduated to these. If you'd had shown me my Taycan back then it woulda looked like out of Tron. Congrats on the car. Chalk looks great and love the ST look. My gf hates wagons too fyi.
Lemon the car or sell it. If it's as bad as you say, it should clearly qualify for lemon. Simple. If it doesn't, you're exaggerating things. Its just a car.
If I was doing my RWD again, I'd add PTS. I don't even think I would twice about it. And having certain options, there are other must haves in my book- RAS, Mission Es, air suspension.
I think my "do-over" would be pushing about 130k with new prices.
Oh look, a $7000 tent that goes on top of your car you'll use twice ever. LOL
Love that blue GTS, and love the Dakar, and love and can't wait to see the 963 race.
Thanks for the pics.... great.
Tread blocks squirming with lots of lock on the front end. Particularly noticeable in colder weather. Not an uncommon occurrence in sports cars with large section, low profile front end tires.
I love that rendering of the Gentian exterior and the body color matched wheels. Pair it with white calipers.
I have black and silver Mission E's with white calipers. I think the white calipers are unique to the PSCBs, and white I think has a certain EV feel to it.
The body color wheels IMO...
Just called the insurance directly- I can file the claim with them directly and utilize the same company Porsche dealer uses. No need to take the car into the dealer. This will be a huge plus not having to take the car into the dealer and dropping off.
Hey guys quick question. Very small/slight curb rash damage about the size of a quarter on my Mission E. Not deep at all. Have the wheel and tire insurance through 3rd party purchased through the dealer.
Dealer is telling me claim has to be made though the dealer through bringing it to dealer...
I would drive a BMW i4eDrive40 right now- that looks like a great car and good value. I also like the look of the Polestar 2 for my gf.
I think thats about it for serious options for myself.
