I don't think there is a 'Porsche approved' category for non-OPC servicing? Are you referring to using genuine Porsche parts?
My recollection was that, during the initial 'new car' warranty period, anyone could service the car as long as it was carried out in line with Porsche specifications...

They state the difference in the attached article (7.3% in certain key frequencies).
Any trim in a car is for visual appearance - no-one is choosing interior carbon fibre for strength/weight reasons. However, many people like the look of carbon fibre compared to other options such as brushed aluminiumor painted plastic!

The thing I love about a GT3 is that you can leave it anywhere and not be too worried about what might happen to it, particularly if it is a ‘dull’ colour. Rightly or wrongly, I’m not sure I’d feel the same about a Ferrari.

We aren’t discussing which is faster, that’s not in doubt.
Handling, balance, feel etc.

That’s why few people would argue that a 911 Turbo S is more sporty than a GT3.
Or that a new 992 Carrera S is more sporty than...
The details suggest otherwise, and we aren’t talking about other models.
Porsche’s own information and data tells us that the GTS is intended to be the (current) sportiest model in the range. That’s good enough for me.
Turbo S is the fastest.
GTS is intended to be the sportiest, which is why it has bespoke GTS chassis tuning and 20% stiffer suspension. And it has been tuned to send more power to the rear wheels, more of the time, than the Turbos. And a supposedly sportier sound track.

You’ve missed his explanatory post on this - he has a £ budget for the car (£123k), which will be funded by the company. The lease cost he pays appears to be based solely on the car’s price. It’s certainly a weird set-up, for sure!
