    Taycan price increased.

I think it’s just a special case due to the delays caused by heater issues and the potential facelift coming this year.

    Taycan price increased.

This is how I understand it as well, there are no MY23 allocations available because of the timescale to resolve the heater issue. So the price is effectively the MY24 price that they are advertising early but they haven’t announced any specification changes which come along with either the...

    Race-tex vs Standard Interior

The big problem is the only bits which are different are the parts which are genuine leather in the standard interior, so all of the fake leather is identical on each and that doesn’t justify the cost. Even if they used the same fake leather but added the double stitching for an improved...

    Race-tex vs Standard Interior

I have seen the GTS Race-Tex interior and the Leather free interior next to each other at my local PEC. I can confirm they are definitely not the same. The GTS is essentially the Full Leather interior with red stitching but with the seat facings, lower dash and door cards in Race-Tex. The...

    Newbie - Awaiting CT Turbo

The layout with the chargers at 90 degrees to those are much easier as the charger would already be halfway down the bonnet. I admit it will be a challenge tho!

    Taycan price increased.

Agreed, I was told the price is fixed from the point of locked specification in the UK.

6.9% finance rate jumped to 10.9%!!

I absolutely agree with you, it is all down to personal circumstances.

6.9% finance rate jumped to 10.9%!!

All I am saying is that buying the car on PCP is not right for everyone but its not something to be dismissed as stupid either. I use my cash elsewhere and buy my cars from disposable income, I expect many people in the UK fit into this category with PCP being so common here. I have no...

6.9% finance rate jumped to 10.9%!!

Whilst I appreciate your viewpoint here it is only one way of looking at the picture and it’s highly dependent on having free cash sat in the bank. Not at all but you pay your mortgage over a much longer term and therefore even if you can get 4.1% which is an excellent rate in the UK just now...

6.9% finance rate jumped to 10.9%!!

Whilst I appreciate your viewpoint here it is only one way of looking at the picture and it’s a very personal thing. I have savings sat in the bank but I have always put my cash in to property or saving for a rainy day and used my disposable income for cars. While this might look expensive...

6.9% finance rate jumped to 10.9%!!

This is exactly what I was told when I ordered my Taycan on 4th March. Locked at 10.9% and if the offered rate drops prior to delivery then I will realise the lower rate. I have also made sure to get a good few quotes on various options as I have read on here that multiple quotes can unlock...

    Price increase vs Model Year

I would fully expect an increase to accompany a spec change and facelift, if that is the case then it would be just fine

    Price increase vs Model Year

For me it just reaches its limit of my perceived value, I would go higher for the face-lifted version but I expect that will be MY25 so a further list price increase on a soon to be replaced model is a point of concern.

    Price increase vs Model Year

This could well be true, if it is then I doubt I would continue with my order unless there are meaningful changes for MY24

    Price increase vs Model Year

I have asked my SA on this point, my understanding is that the increase is based on MY24 deliveries which will be vehicles produced after the summer shutdown. Based on the heater delays he wasn’t sure if there will be any allocations issued for MY23 deliveries now so updating the prices now will...

    Taycan price increased.

The saved configuration still shows the original price but when I open it in the configurator mine definitely shows the updated price in the UK

    Taycan vs Telsa M3P thoughts?

I agree with the throttle mapping aspect to a certain degree. The only thing I found a little odd on the Taycan in our test drive was that in Normal mode the 'kick down' effect of the gearbox could make larger throttle inputs feel quite digital. Speed wise I would say there is little in it...

    Taycan vs Telsa M3P thoughts?

I think comparing them is a natural thing, they are the two main high performance EV’s available on the UK Market. In a few months time we will see the same comparisons with the EV6 GT when they start delivering. I agree they are very different cars but you only have to look at the number of...
