Close Enough ? Yes or No

Easy! You put your plate into a tow hook adapter and not have holes drilled into your car. That’s what’s dealers do btw. They drill holes. Into your car. Yuck. Not all cars mind you, but a surprisingly large amount of car models have no licence plate “spot” As region to region requires a front...

Close Enough ? Yes or No

Considering Porsche just has its offices raided last week by the German authorities for lying to them... what is lying to it’s customers? Lol

Is Your Dealer Showing You The Love?

Mine said they are getting training as well. It would be quite coincidental they are all lying about the same thing at the same time across the world in multiple countries

    Some strange official Taycan article

Porsche has decided wood working and the Taycan are somehow linked. It is a very strange tie in and they are still using the mission e, albeit in new shots, as the poster child. No new information can be gleaned, but I thought it would be worth a checking out ( or a laugh!)

Close Enough ? Yes or No

Funny considering those with the most wealth are also the most thrifty. Not sure the last time I cared about what someone thinks of my daily driver.

    Personal Question

I strongly feel the Audi with 590hp and 258 miles is what we will get the “4s” Porsche. This is with an 90kwh battery. Less would be financial suicide in my eyes for the price I’m guessing it will be.

Close Enough ? Yes or No

The door line and subsequent pillar behind it is drastically different as well as other more angular style cues that will not be making the cut. On a quick glance they are similar, but the devil is in the details.

    Personal Question

400 would be nice and about what I expect with normal driving.

    Personal Question

I’m hoping around 400- 500 useable kilometres. Less would not be very ideal in Canada, especially with vast distances between cities outside of Vancouver here. If I say, I wish to travel from my house to even part way in lower BC to the Okanagan ( a popular summer retreat) we are looking at 300...

Is Your Dealer Showing You The Love?

I’ve gotten zero updates or emails. I wasn’t even sure I was on the list until I went back to the dealership last week to book a test drive for a another car.

Automobile Mag Taycan review: The Porsche Taycan Turbo Redefines Speed and Acceleration

I mean I don’t disagree that is possible, I just think that’s not very professional or honest of Porsche if they do that. I have no doubt the higher trim can exceed the “between cayenne and panamera “ price point, I just feel the first trim we are getting is what we are seeing and the price they...

Automobile Mag Taycan review: The Porsche Taycan Turbo Redefines Speed and Acceleration

No it’s not. “Tell me, what will the price range for the Taycan be? Blume: We will offer the Taycan with two battery sizes, and will be starting with the larger package; the entry-level version with smaller battery will start at under €100,000. And just as with our combustion engines, there...

Automobile Mag Taycan review: The Porsche Taycan Turbo Redefines Speed and Acceleration

I came back from my Porsche dealer early today. Finally brought the wife and she is on-board for a car of some kind. long story short: My salesperson told me he will be sent for training on the Taycan this July. He was not able to tell me anything else about the car save that the speculation on...

Automobile Mag Taycan review: The Porsche Taycan Turbo Redefines Speed and Acceleration

Which is complete bullshit; as between the cayenne and the panamera is exactly why I placed my deposit. It’s what I’m willing to afford for an electric car. “We meant between the cayenne turbo and the panamera turbo”

yeah my mistake including ev rebates not counting for USA, I thought I read it was limited on price too.

Automobile Mag Taycan review: The Porsche Taycan Turbo Redefines Speed and Acceleration

Considering a model 3 performance would smoke this thing at price and performance, I would not be surprised if they skip the supposed “base” model altogether in North America. There is no rebates here in NA for something this expensive, it’s strictly a luxury vehicle so it better perform well.

Automobile Mag Taycan review: The Porsche Taycan Turbo Redefines Speed and Acceleration

These are not good performances for the dollar. The base would be priced the same as a 911 here.... plus anything over $125k is subject to a 20% luxury tax in BC. I hope this is incorrect information
