Porsche 3rd Quarter 2025 Financial Results

He does this, because he has a point! If you have not been car shopping in China, you don't know! BMW plans to launch 40 models in two years using AI, claiming it now outpaces Chinese rivals with fewer people and faster tools. Wow, they open their mouth so big, without a single car of the Neue...

Porsche 3rd Quarter 2025 Financial Results

Formula 1 will be transitioning to 100% sustainable e-fuels! In early projections had the price of fuel jumping from the current $22-$33 dollar per litre range up to around $170-$225 per litre! What ace exactly? Shell stopped their factory in Rotterdam for this nonsense! Any car brand, which...

Porsche 3rd Quarter 2025 Financial Results

So tired of all these shiny announcements. Where are the EVs I can buy?? In China our new Huawei Maextro S800 was promised this month, but will be delayed for a few weeks. I asked them, if they also make a SUV with this self driving tech. They said yes, next year. Will ditch the sedan and buy...

Porsche 3rd Quarter 2025 Financial Results

Nobody says collaps. The problem is that the global ICE market is shrinking since 2017. The world is going electric but Prosche is going ICE. And the little EVs they have are so outdated in terms of tech and software. A brand like this, which does not innovate into growing markets is destined...

Porsche 3rd Quarter 2025 Financial Results

Now the news are like this: "Porsche verschiebt Marktstart von E-SUV und setzt wieder auf Verbrenner" Cars like the Macan come 2 years delayed to the market and others cancelled, what you talking feels like vaporware! Large German mainstream media is reporting. Are they all wrong?

Porsche 3rd Quarter 2025 Financial Results

No, Porsche was never about the price. People are happy to spend on a luxury product to show off - especially in China. The problem is when that “luxury” product, compared to the local cheap competition, doesn’t feel luxurious at all, and actually lacks many of the increasingly important...

J1.1 Taycan High Voltage Battery Reliability Survey

I think it started Feb 2023, then in Dec 2024 I finally got an entire new pack! Nothing since then, but I drive the car very very little since...

J1.1 Taycan High Voltage Battery Reliability Survey

Exactly my experience! Everytime the car was in the shop for months. When I now see how Porsche tries to go back to ICE, I basically lost interest in the brand! Fact is: if you cannot deliver modern, engaging, high tech, fast charging, large range, fully electric cars, you have no chance on...

J1.1 Taycan High Voltage Battery Reliability Survey

Twice a module replaced, then on the third module failure a whole new pack. Nothing since. I guess the early batteries are indeed no good...

What is the future of the Taycan? -"The development of the planned new platform for electric vehicles in the 2030s will be rescheduled."

Comparing a Taycan LG 2019 battery to my Zeekr CATL 2023 battery shows how fast the development in battery tech goes. I remember the same happend with the first laptops I bought. We are early adopters and have to pay at least part of the learning curve.

What is the future of the Taycan? -"The development of the planned new platform for electric vehicles in the 2030s will be rescheduled."

Cannot compare! Cars really age! Watches don't. How do you drive a Porsche ICE from 2000 in 2050, when 1. all gas stations have long disappeard 2. all driving is done by AI and you are strictly forbidden to touch a steering wheel?

What is the future of the Taycan? -"The development of the planned new platform for electric vehicles in the 2030s will be rescheduled."

You are right, seeing how the battery manufacturing industry evolves, my money is also on batteries which are unbreakable and last way way beyond the life of the car. But that also means, that manufacturer/insurances are not bothered by replacements anymore...

What is the future of the Taycan? -"The development of the planned new platform for electric vehicles in the 2030s will be rescheduled."

Listen to this for just 2 minutes: youtu.be/xnzm4OOma9Q?t=336 He describes exactly what I see in China on the road and in the showrooms. In the German car brands showroom people only look at the ICEs, like the Merc S-Class, or the Prosche Cayenne, but that's it. The only sucessful model was...

What is the future of the Taycan? -"The development of the planned new platform for electric vehicles in the 2030s will be rescheduled."

The Zeekr 001 with 140kWh battery, which I got in May 2023, came with life long warranty. With only one charging cycle per month, I cannot see any degradation. And the really new CATL batteries basically don't degrade and never break. I don't see an issue here!

What is the future of the Taycan? -"The development of the planned new platform for electric vehicles in the 2030s will be rescheduled."

The more older second hand EVs are on the market the more special shops will be available, which can repair batteries on the cheap with ever more secondhand batteries on the market. And if you are lucky, your battery lasts much longer than the car.

What is the future of the Taycan? -"The development of the planned new platform for electric vehicles in the 2030s will be rescheduled."

Compare it with BMW and VW. They have hugh research and development centers in China, too. Particularly BMW, they have equal centers one in Munich, one in China. Porsche? Nothing! I am pointing this out so clearly, because I do wish the German car industry survives. But currently they are...

What is the future of the Taycan? -"The development of the planned new platform for electric vehicles in the 2030s will be rescheduled."

I beg to differ! Porsche was a high tech company at the time with engine, chassie, etc and it was all about engineering for performance and driving dynamics. What's next? Porsche has no answer, but the Chinese do!

I think MG brand. Don't care. I only care, that Porsche does not have an electric car like this. I am bored with all the presentation and grand anoucements, and then you go to the showroom and you see NOTHING!

You can trash talk this all you want! Fact is: The Chinese dump a new model every 6 months, Porsche needs 3 years and then takes a complete U-Turn. WTF?
