We haven’t seen this happen once yet. No confirmed deliveries of cars that haven’t been FIFO. TYD has standard dates it seems and they’re just going to keep pushing all deliveries back in batches as they get closer. They’ve been doing it all of 2022.

I think it’s going to be a tidal wave of released cars. Considering cars from mid July completion dates are supposed to be delivered around the beginning of December, I have a 0% probability that you will get your car before the end of the year.

I saw someone mention this in another thread and I still don’t see data points to back this up. Did I miss something new? I don’t think we’ve seen a car (yet) that has been delivered that has had a later completion date to that of a car that has not yet been delivered. Attaching status from my SA.

that’s funny ! I have that too. When I’m in the app I swipe right and I can access TYD for the car.

This happened to me at the beginning of September. I called Porsche NA and they submitted a ticket. 2 days later the car was back in TYD.

SFL Composer arrived in Emden 9/30 at 2:39 UTC. I haven’t seen a status change on my vehicle yet. Anyone destined for the east coast see a status change yet and if so, what was your build date/completion ?

Not to be a downer - but there’s just no way they’d stop production due to a battery shortage and not have a FIFO process to ship vehicles. The theory isn’t really resonating and sure doesn’t make a lot of sense.

Correct, I’m Midwest (Chicago) but yes I believe they land on the east coast. Edit: I definitely missed the Siem Confucius (left 9/24 per tracking). I’m hopeful based on some of these west coast build dates being similar to mine that I’ll get on the SFL Composer estimated to depart Emden on 9/30.

My start was 7/9 and completion on 7/21. My status hasn’t changed yet but I’m staying optimistic :)
