I met the owner of the Shade green and I'm talking to the Ruby Star owner...
Thats great for track but beyond slow on the streets. This is a 9 sec quarter mile car that can also rip in the canyons. GT3RS handles better, but straight line is not there, plus its $450k
This kit is going to be expensive! Lots of carbon fiber including the front fenders
From Manthey
Wheel arch ventilation with wheel arch deflector
AIR GUIDE ELEMENT (TURNING VANES)
Underbody aerodynamic component for downforce optimisation
CARBON AERODISC
Lightweight wheel cover...
The stupid battery weight penalty is the issue, no way around it.
You're probably right about the downforce.
In Sport Plus it's already a clearance nightmare. If the steering and suspension tuning was just in Sport plus I would do it. It needs to be a little more firm
It's marketing and shows the teams capabilities.
I'm interested in the suspension and steering tuning. Maybe the wheel and tire setup too.
I'm going to find out about that from my dealer
Nordschleife lap record: 6:55.533
What the kits includes and can be installed individually, unlike the GT3 that needs to purchases as a whole. Also confirmed the power increase is software
Aerodynamics
Downforce increased more than 3x vs. the standard car
At 200 km/h: downforce goes from 95 kg...
Sport Plus is supposed to be sharper steering. Have you tried Sport mode in the canyons to compare to Sport Plus? I feel more weight in Sport mode
I don't think you ever drove it in Normal, but its incredibly smooth and luxurious due to PAR.
It feels like any other Taycan.
PAR is optimized for aggressive driving in Sport plus mode. PAR is always on, by the extra lean/pitch/dive in Normal Mode disengages after 93mph, but in Sport and Sport Plus PAR itself does not disengage. It's part of the driving dynamics
@Vision can you share how my car car felt in Sport Plus...
Service is a dealer issue, less Porsche or manufacturer. My Audi e-tron GT (J1.1 Taycan Turbo) would be booked next day, with loaner, work order completed in 24/48 hours.
Depending on how many Taycans are in for Service, my dealer is around 3 to 4 days turn around. Some dealers much longer...
