Georgia has an upfront ad valorem tax paid at purchase for all passenger vehicles and then just a ~$20 yearly renewal fee for ICE. It is an additional $211/year for EV registration, which given our 29.1¢ gas tax is ~18k annual miles at 25mpg (used for consistency with previous posts, please...
Reading the title my first though was "where the hell would you put a badge?!?" So I'll be of no use trying to answer your question ?
As others have stated: sticker all the way.
So my choices are a repair bill or higher insurance rates when Porsche sells my data indicating regular LC usage to the insurance companies ?
I wonder if I show this TSB to my agent if I could get a discount for "proactive maintenance." ?
'23 GTS - every now and then I have to hold my finger into the button for a couple seconds before it locks or unlocks. I don't think it's ever been above 3~4 seconds (usually less than a second though), but for sure the quick tap has been very hit or miss. After a while I just assumed I was...
~5mo, 2500mi, 2 punctures. But that had more to do with my neighbor using a lazy contractor who spilled nails all over the street and didn't clean up. The wheel & tire package covered two brand new tires for me though. Wish it would have covered the 4 new my wife needed ?
My other car is a 1970 Mini (1275, RHD imported from the UK). At ~5.3 million produced it begs to differ regarding collectibles and production numbers. Then again, when 5.29 million have rusted to oblivion... ? But I do agree with you that it's, at best, a long shot that the Gen 1 Taycan becomes...
It's there in the press photos, but not called out. On the C&D page it noted some uncertainty specifically around the ST. Additionally, in the first post out breaks out the sedan and CT pricing, but omits the ST, hence my question around it remaining GTS only in the US and releasing later...
Sport Turismo variant missing as well? Wonder if that will stay GTS only in the US and that's why it's not included. Isn't it typical for the GTS variant to arrive later in the cycle?
Set a profile with a minimum charge value you want as a "max" instead of a timer. Do NOT set a timer. It *should* charge to that value and then stop. Counter intuitive I know. I found this deep in a charging thread here a number of months ago and it's worked for me.
If you do want to hit 100% at...
*runs to garage*
*lets out sigh of relief*
My unofficial GTS ST is still here and safe.
I've never seen it so bad that they claimed a model didn't exist, but I've had a number of times when the sales person clearly was full of hot air about vehicles I was interested in (including the Porsche...
Was halfway making a joke here. I've not seen chargers out of service at this location previously when I've been there, but one was down for maintenance when I pulled up the app today. Should have picked better words there.
I downloaded the update and immediately went to check my local EA station, which has been reliable for me so far (a 10 PlugScore on PlugShare).
It says the station is down for maintenance ?♂️
I'd regularly see the thousandths of a gallon digit ticking over slowly when filling my diesel truck in cold temps like those blanketing much of the US currently. My personal "high score" was a little over 13 minutes for a 17 gallon fill. The flow was so slow the auto-stop didn't work and it...
I obsessed over the Mission E when it was first shown in 2015. My jaw dropped when the Taycan was unveiled and was so close to the Mission E. When speculation of a Sport Turismo variant popped up I spent way too much time scouring the Internet for spy shots and rumors. When the ST was released...
I had this same issue over the last two days trying to send an updated charging profile to the car from the app. Tried last night and was still failing. Tried it just now after pulling up this thread and it worked. Guessing it was a server issue with Porsche ?♂️.
As another software engineer (turned engineering manager), I'd agree with you. I use Android Auto for maps and audio, but I've found the PCM relatively easy to navigate once I got through the learning curve. With my old GMC AA and CP took over the entire infotainment screen and I lost quick...
