My GTS has been in San Diego since 3/18. Received word from my SA that it has passed port PDI and will be released to dealer this weekend or early next week. No details while in port and said that is not unusual for Porsche.
My dealer stock GTS sedan has been sitting in the SD port since 3/18. No updates on when it will be released. Out of the same ship, at least one RWD has already been delivered to the dealer.
driving a German car slow in the left lane should be outlawed. Should be mandatory for every owner to at least spend a couple of days over there understanding true lane etiquette. Luckily Porsche drivers seem to be the least worst offenders vs MB and BMW. I'm a regular Scottsdale 101 driver...
Still not out. My SA is in training this week so updates have slowed down, but he probably would give me a real time update if it cleared port and on its way to the dealer.
Nice work. During my search, I found dealers between MSRP and $40K ADM for incoming dealer stock on the GTS sedan. Shipping costs made it impractical on a few of the MSRP dealers that were far away from me. What was the max ADM of the 75 that responded?
I'm dealing with the same waiting process and to set expectations correctly, if they follow same plan as San Diego port, these cars will be held due to recalls and software upgrades. The ports are able to address the work, but will add extra time and offloads the Center from handling the effort.
Just spoke with my advisor and sounds like my GTS made it on the Green Ridge. Through the canal and headed to San Diego with ETA of this Friday. He is hedging the ready date to end of month or early April.
Looks like everyone here is tracking custom builds. Is there a way to track dealer stock? I bought a new GTS on the way to the dealer and hoping I could figure out a more exact delivery time than early April.
