Went to PC today. They told me many are shown in the ordering systems as "back order", but the OBCs can still be ordered and receive within a day. The supplier of the 11kW OBC is still producing a lot. But perhaps as it looks it differs per country. Here sufficient stock at the moment.
Mine failed for the 2nd time, and I refused the downgrade. As a result car is at the dealer and zero communication whatsoever from them despite my attempt. Lawyer on the case. To me the 22kW OBC is paramount, actually I traded in fairly new 4s CT for a Turbo S with 22kW capability. Consumer...
Some say there is a new version from a new supplier as I read on other forums. Cannot confirm, just read, but seems legit. Anyone else heard this?
Apparently 10 units hit the UK. Perhaps others to the USA?
Is it really a recommendation or is it a must in order to keep your approved?
My turn next year for the PCCB pads.

Yes. Mine just confirmed faulty again. 2nd time. Will be replaced, this new incoming will thus be the third.
Apparently a new version / new supplier?? (Webasto in financial difficulty and bought over partly by Ampure USA?).
Not much is illegal here :)
I wait for their initial response after diagnosis, surely in the line "we will replace by 11 kW OBC". Well, also in my user case I often charge at home well above this 11 kW max and I do like it, makes better use of my home system (battery + 19 kWp solar panels + 22...
My turn now.
22 kW onboard very likely. I have written PC to replace by 22 kW OBC as per original specs. The maintenance team mentioned likely to be replaced by 11 kW OBC. I have asked for the 22 kW version, awaiting diagnosis and remedy.
Turbo S CT.
Of course also looking for a proper remedy as...
I sometimes wonder how Porsche plans to communicate with customers when the wider VW Group is laying off 50,000 people. If anything, communication with end users already feels close to zero — and it’s hard to imagine that improving over time.
The real issue is that many customers feel Porsche...
