Fair point — just to clarify, when I mentioned a “one-off,” I was referring specifically to the discovery of coolant intrusion in a J1.2, not the underlying BMS software issue, which is obviously a broader and ongoing concern.
No worries — my comment was meant tongue-in-cheek, not to make light of the issue itself. 😊
I do agree that if this turns out to be more than a one-off case, it’s definitely something Porsche should take seriously. I just try to keep a bit of humor in the mix while we wait to see how widespread...
Yeah, I totally agree — people really should start officially bringing this up, ideally with detailed reports attached. Just wondering, has @ct14garage ever raised this directly with Porsche?
I’d be surprised if they weren’t already aware of it, but it’s hard to believe they wouldn’t be...
That explanation in the letter! Amazing how they come up with that and try to settle for reimbursement of the cost you paid....cheap solution by Porsche. Surely you can get more out of that....
Nice to see that you have pulled the trigger on the CT4 J1.2. Wondering how you experience it after selling the J1.1 TS CT (Same as mine). Especially with the tune.
They mentioned it was a special deal...but another member I know based in the Netherlands also paid that same amount a longer while back, perhaps a prolonged special deal. Nonetheless, I think 3500€ for 3 years added is very agreeable. I took it as I believe this pricing cannot be maintained...
Just renewed it myself here in the Netherlands, it was exactly € 3525 for 3 years coverage. My Taycan still had coverage until nov 2026...that is now extended to nov 2029. I find it worth it.
Same here, leading to another bill to a company to replace a main fuse (in the Netherlands this must be done by the lead supplier). OBC got replaced end '23 and since then no more issues.
Is it mandatory to replace pads when 6 yrs old in order to keep your warranty / porsche approved?
Or is it recommended to change....?
Does someone know the details / part numbers which pads exactly are used for the PCCB set up? (Pads suitable for the CC brakes), front / rear. Are these Brenbo...
Perhaps an option for you.

Same here. Today had my 60k km service done. 4.xx denied. They put the 3885 on, following up on the 3882 that was my current until yesterday. Minor issue with the parking break found, solved...and opted for cleaning of fans and some other minor stuff. Down 1100€ and good to go another 30k...
For reference.
The GuessOMeter (DerekS, 2022) @DerekS shows a solid 400km+ on the Taycan CT TS (fully loaded).
Range mode on, A/C off.
However, reality no way I reach that as I simply drive it fast way too often.
But 425 on the GOM is not a bad number.
60k km service done today. Without flaws...
Update:
Not the version I was hoping for. Only the 3885 instead of the previous 3882.
No noticeable changes unfortunately. Probs only minor bug fixes.
Let's see when Porsche rolls out a real update.
I pick my car up this afternoon. Also 3885 from 3882. Minor changes I guess.
Not 4....also not available now as the PC mentioned. Mhmmm.
But let's see what 3885 does.
Will be at the dealer in the morning on Monday 21st. Curious to hear what will happen. They told me if it takes another day, just keep the loaner another day. No problem. I specifically asked for the 4.xx version. They said ok, let's see. Soon we all know. To be continued.
