    Front license plate states

I’ve had mine on for 8 months and zero such issues. Looks the same as when I put it on the first day.

    what does CarPlay give you?

Beyond the obvious like access to all things on your phone in the click of a button, the user interface for google and Apple Maps, etc. is FAR superior to that of the MMI navigation, that alone is a reason to use CarPlay.

I’m paying in that same ballpark and that’s with a multi car discount. Excellent credit rating, good driving history Etc. I’m in the Los Angeles area.

Audi RS E-tron GT door modification

No apology necessary, I just wasn't sure, so I wanted to confirm :). I love that! soft closing doors is the thing I miss the most when I moved into the GT. How long was the process to complete?

Audi RS E-tron GT door modification

Apologies in advance, I’m no door expert. When you say door closers do you mean for soft closing?

    Taycan Sales Declining

Come to California, there's no shortage of options. . .it's definitely regionally based.

    Courtesy among Porsche Drivers?

A lot of SUV driver slander lol but funny enough I rarely get the wave from other 911 drivers. They typically avoid any kind of eye contact. Of course there are exceptions, but generally I’ve found it quite surprising. It may also have to do with the area, I live in SoCal where Porsche’s...

    “Electric” Logo on doors

Perhaps you should go back and read the comment I originally replied to. The argument was made that gas powered cars don’t say “gas” across the side, so why put “electric“, my response was that when we put v8 (insert any number you wish) we all know it’s a gas powered car, so in fact we do...

    “Electric” Logo on doors

That would imply that everyone knows that a Taycan is electric and we know that they do not (the rest of the world is filled with non owners) Maybe in 10 years you could make this argument.

    “Electric” Logo on doors

I have no preference, meaning I’m not offended by “electric”/hybrid, etc. on the side. The point I was calling out is that you implied we don’t put “gas” on the side of petrol cars. My counterpoint was maybe we don’t put those exact words but there are other “symbols/words/indicators” we use...

lol it doesn’t? what fuel do those engines run on?

    “Electric” Logo on doors

Are you aware of any V6, 8 or 10s that aren’t gas powered? Even the hybrids need gas. So it does in fact indicate how it’s powered, just with a bit more specificity. If we’re going to nitpick, people should be more up in arms about a “turbo” designation on an EV rather than highlighting what it...

    Recommendations on tint brand?

I've used 3M for my last 3 cars and it's been amazing. I can't confirm if it's THAT much better than the other brands under consideration as I haven't used them, but it's very high quality and comes with a lifetime warranty which is added peace of mind. I've done both color stable and Ceramic IR.

    Used e-tron GT prices

Whatever you say. Its likely a waste of my time replying back to someone who thinks what THEY value in a car is what should be most important to everyone else. A companies ability to charge higher prices based on its market positioning, perceived prestige or history has nothing to do with the...

    Used e-tron GT prices

It’s interesting that some will try and project what matters most to them and assume everyone should agree with how they evaluate what’s most valuable in a car. I own a 911 and I value many things about it, including how it drives. Does that mean I’m right if I say a comparable M5 isn’t as...

    Used e-tron GT prices

Unless you’re stuck on needing the Porsche badge, the e-tron (particularly on the used market is far better bang for your buck at the moment. The gap between performance and price is not comparable, unless you’re taking it on a track, weekly. The Porsche is for sure more engaging to drive...

Taycan Turbo Accident - Damage Opinion

Porsche owners tend to overindex on the side of complete replacement, so that will be the overwhelming opinion of those here. As a general rule, we prefer our cars to be pristine and undamaged. Like everyone else, this is complete speculation, and hard to know anything without seeing underneath...
