  1. So, has there really been no credible news…

might as well wait then until June when it becomes the i4 M60, with its shared output with the i5 M60 and I believe different battery. I've been following this platform as well as my RS etron GT lease is up in Sept 2026 and was hoping this would be my next ride, so it looks like I might just...
  2. Redshift Performance - News & Updates - Secondary ECU in the mail without shipping original!

You have to keep in mind Launch Control also controls tire slip for maximum acceleration. Even on my lowly RS e-tron GT, I spin more without launch control If you look at the difference in acceleration time in the 60-100mph, its as follows: 100mph - 60mph delta below: Stock w/o launch...
  3. metal roof?

The breakdown of the CF weight is as follows: The outer CF skin itself is 4.2kg. Inner support structure is 6kg. Strangely, Audi doesn't break it down on the Panoroof, but that may be because its the entire panel is considered the structure and it's simply glued on with adhesive. I'm not 100%...
  4. metal roof?

Hey all, bumping up and old thread. Curious what the real weight is on the Aluminum roof. I say this because on its platform-mate, the RS e-tron GT as 2 roof options, a CF which weighs 10.2kg, and the pano roof weighs 22.5kg. The difference between both roofs are 12.3kg. I've 'read' that...
  5. 2025 RS E-Tron GT US release

Interesting that they don't give us the in-between RS model, instead it's either the S or RS Performance. But at the same time, surprised the RS-Performance isn't priced higher than it is (base price anyways).
  6. OBD info not readable by owners in 2025 Taycans?

SFD2 protocols, it actually started sometime in 2024MY builds, well at least on it's sister platform mate, the e-tron GT. Basically it needs to dial in to the homeland/mothership to make any changes, but I was under the impression that basic OBDII items could still be read, just not...
  7. Dissecting the 2025 Taycan Turbo GT J1 II platform / motors / inverters (and vs 2025 Taycan Turbo S)

The GT's 2nd gear ratio is the same 8.05:1 To get to the Turbo GT's top speed, they would have needed to do any of the following: 1) Modify the front motor to allow for higher rpm. 2) Remove the 16,000rpm limit on it (assuming the front motor could handle higher rpm all along and was only...
  8. 2025 RS e-tron GT runs [email protected]

  9. 2025 RS E Tron-GT Performance runs 9.95

I believe the press releases do say the Taycan GT has a "different" rear motor. But, one would have the also assume a different front motor as well given the top speed of the GT since we know that the current array of motors are limited to 16,000rpm on each axle, and the 2024 RS and Turbo/S are...
  10. 2025 RS E Tron-GT Performance runs 9.95

    @ approx 225km/h, or 139-140mph. Street, non-prepped surface
  11. Redshift ECU Upgrade Review on my 2024 Taycan Turbo S

I'm thinking this may be an adaptation thing, or an ESC/TCS thing. You can see the 1-2 upshift, but then it seems like perhaps it didn't know what it wanted to do and held back power after the shift, but then gave it the beans.
  12. Redshift ECU Upgrade Review on my 2024 Taycan Turbo S

Holy hell, that bump in g's on that 1-2 upshift  That 60-130mph is fast! No reason to doubt this upgrade now
  13. Redshift ECU Upgrade Review on my 2024 Taycan Turbo S

You are completely right. I'm not sure why I thought it was around 70mph, so ignore me. Edit, I do wonder if that extra "kick" in g-forces on that 1-2 upshift does favor a 1st gear start seeing as that it occurs that close to 60mph ?
  14. Redshift ECU Upgrade Review on my 2024 Taycan Turbo S

On your rolling run, did you start off in 1st gear or 2nd gear? Also for what it's worth, my RS E Tron GT in boost mode (637hp vs your non-boost mode 616hp) does 8.51 60-130mph, I would imagine it would at least be near that range from a roll. But keep in mind that my car upshifts to 2nd gear...
  15. 60-130 on Turbo S from a Roll? Installing Redshift ECU Clone Today

I'd try it, but my stock car 60-130mph is a lifetime compared to you all :CWL: I think in Dragy you can configure different data points, I could try 60-100mph and experiment 1st vs 2nd gear starts.
  16. 60-130 on Turbo S from a Roll? Installing Redshift ECU Clone Today

Maybe off-topic, when timing from a rolling race, do you all start closer to 40mph (or so), so that 1st gear is engaged? Or is it better to start at 55mph in 2nd gear?
  17. Finally got some drag times (Draggy) for my Taycan Turbo S

For Datapoint Reference: My RS e-tron GT on the stock file after a 10 mins drive @ 94% SoC (Unsure if battery was at optimal temp, we don't get the luxury to access this unfortunately) 60-130mph was 8.46 seconds on Dragy on an overboost/launch control run. Sounds like the GTS + Redshift is...
  18. Redshift Performance - News & Updates - Secondary ECU in the mail without shipping original!

You have a point. If the TQ/nM line stays put to reach the overboost HP figures, on the RS e-tron GT would be closer to 75mph (+/- approx 3mph) before things dialed back down, so yes, that would impact 60-130mph times. side note, VW Group really locked down modules with the updated SFD2...
  19. Redshift Performance - News & Updates - Secondary ECU in the mail without shipping original!

This is what I am thinking too, even my "dumbed-down" RS e-tron is sufficient in how it responds in day-to-day, it's light years better than any ICE in responsiveness as is. If torque/nM doesn't change in overboost, it's actually not the initial 2.5 seconds, but rather later in the power...
  20. Redshift Performance - News & Updates - Secondary ECU in the mail without shipping original!

7.99 60-130mph is quicker than even a stock RS e tron GT (where it's closer to 8.6 seconds using math from publications such as Car and Driver). According to MotorTrend, the GTS traps about 123.7mph, so it's adding some HP on the GTS here with that almost 129mph trap, even more impressive since...
