I agree with the poor view of the basic 360 camera versus others I've seen, although it does include extra camera views such as along the sides that I do find useful.
I had a small section of PPF removed from the trunk of my car after about 4 years and there was no paint damage. I believe the prior owner reused the original badges rather than new ones following PPF, and one of them shifted.
You should definitely buy all new emblems if you remove for PPF...
Yikes. I'll suggest also have a plan of action for this type of event, whether it is to feign ignorance, fight back, or let them have your property to avoid injury.
The platinum plan extended warranty in the US covers nearly all the components that would be included with the new car warranty, although there will be some specific exceptions. I couldn't find the actual VSP documents during a quick search, but I noticed trim does not appear to be mentioned so...
I should have read this first. I called Porsche North America and the very polite woman on the other end tried to help but eventually had to give up and say the Connect service is completely down. She said it's expected to be back up in 24 hours.
I can tell you my own hesitation with replacing my ICE SUV, which we use for "more than a tankful" trips. There are so many stories of people going to charge locations and finding many or all the fast chargers non-functional, leaving only slower DC chargers and lines forming. Since chargers...
I'm new to both EVs and Porsche but the experience so far has been good. Equal acceleration to my RS5 and nearly equal handling (on the street at least), a gorgeous interior and view out the front, always being in the right gear, no driveline lash, never mis-timing a shift, no turbo lag, no gas...
Try to unwad them, it was only humor.
But, from Motortrend: Next, you'll need to select "Drag Strip Mode," which is Teslaspeak for launch control. The system then preconditions the battery pack, bringing it to its ideal operating temperature. This can take anywhere from eight to 15 minutes...
If the Cybertruck has to prep for its drag run like the Model S Plaid, then its actual quarter mile run is 11 seconds... plus 10 minutes.
And only once before a long rest.
In the 4S, the performance plus battery also increases max HP and torque, does it not? From what I understand, it may have no real impact in real world 0-60 but will improve response in highway passing. My seat of the pants said the performance battery 4S was faster from 50-70mph than the GT e...
FWIW, I had a warranty repair (PODS issue) on the seat in my Audi that required pulling it apart. As long as the service tech is careful, there is no reason anything should scratch or look different. I hope your repair goes smoothly.
Not ideal, but deleting your account from the PCM and adding it back may work. Mine showed me as a secondary user despite the Porsche ID being correct. I deleted from the car and added back and all was good, although I had to set up my drive mode and radio favorites again.
Nitrogen is only 7 on the periodic table versus oxygen at 8, so it reduces unsprung weight and therefore increases performance. Not being flammable, it also reduces risk of fire as tires get hot during a track session and is an absolute requirement for any sporting car. :CWL:
