Even though folks with odometers in km have it worse, my guess is no. The car's computer is doing many tasks simultaneously, and the extra second or so at high mileage won't make much difference.
So sorry to hear about this, @aromillo , and I hope it never happens to you again (especially in your new GTS!) or to any of us. It's a good reminder to keep valuables out of the car, or at least out of sight when visiting multiple shops consecutively.
FWIW, I use a fine knife and carefully...
It's back up here in the USA, too, but it ain't what it used to be. I think they're still working on it.
It lists my model year when it didn't before ...
The green dot for remote access is missing ...
And a LOT of the services are missing - there used to be over a dozen and now there's...
Exactly! Plus, when I test drove a Model 3 I felt and heard EVERY bump on the road - that's why my RWD has air suspension, acoustic glass, and 20" tires.
But the Tesla folks become buttonology experts and apparently it suits them fine. Can't knock that.
Tesla took a computer and built a car...
Same here in the USA - login.porsche.com is down, and my MyPorsche app isn't responding ... makes you wonder if some of the folks active in this Forum want to sit side-by-side with Porsche's coders for consultation ...
I'm driving from Goodyear to the Grand Canyon Village soon. ABRP says my PBP RWD will go from 85% to 14% SOC in 115 miles from the West Anthem Way EA station to Flagstaff. That seems off because 71% SOC should yield about 200 miles.
@Rcrewse7 , when you drove to Flagstaff did you see a drop...
Thanks for the feedback, Laurent - especially the valuable do's and don'ts.
Your solar deal is sweeter than mine, probably because there are so many homes with solar here in Arizona that the electric company, which has a monopoly where I live, can get away with low buyback rates.
My home's...
If a charger in Kingman Arizona USA (110 miles {180 km} SW of Las Vegas) breaks, a service technician has to drive from Las Vegas to fix it. I met him while he was fixing the 50 kW CHAdeMO charger.
The first time I tried to use one of the four 350 kW and three 150 kW chargers, I had trouble...
I watched the short and long versions of the video. While there were some good truths, there were some partial truths and at times misinformation.
The video doesn’t do it for me.
Before y’all whip out your flamethrowers, note that I’m not here to bash or defend EVs versus ICEs. And I’m...
This thread's been quiet for over a fortnight, so I'm pinging @Administrator to see if the table in #2 can be filled and accompany Porsche's text shown in the thread starter.
Agreed, but IMO the bar would be even higher if all of these enhancements were announced and promised in a Porsche press release with quotes from Porsche executives ... instead of a well-written third-party write-up.
Thanks! I thought that was to precool/heat the battery compartment to the optimum charging temperature - I didn't realize it was for the car interior.
Now I see it in Good-to-Know:
Hello from Arizona USA! My part of suburban Phoenix had a light shower a couple of hours ago which cooled things off to 107 F (42 C) - but it's muggy and awful like a summer day in the UAE ...
Even though I drive around in these temperatures with normal A/C on setting 2 or 3 of 6, a PB+ with...
Thanks for pointing out the CCS differences ?. Tesla would have to update their Supercharger software to differentiate between Tesla / non-Tesla, but it's certainly doable considering how Elon wants the revenue.
I wish we had standards in place. In the USA, DC chargers plug into a receptacle containing J1772 and CCS. Only the CCS is used to charge:
Whereas if Tesla adds CCS the plug to their Superchargers it'll look like this (from the article)
I don't think this will plug into Taycans in the USA...
