That guy is Jonny Lieberman from Motor Trend. https://www.motortrend.com/staff/jonny-lieberman/
Look at all his reviews and cars that he had driven. He definitely knows more than anyone of us here.
Are you planning to wrap your car matted black? If not, this build has to be one of the most expensive boring Taycan build that I have seen here. If you do plan to wrap it, yeah, this build is pretty epic with the carbon fiber exterior.
I expect Taycan will follow the same resell value trend as the Panamera.
VW is currently having a partnership with QuantumScape to commercialize solid state battery by 2026. It expects to be lighter and has a range of over 500 miles. It can fully charge in less than 10 minutes. If resell is...
I think it will look fine. I am about your age and life is too short to buy an expensive item based on worry about what other people think. Love the red interior.
I really don't care about the OEM wheels except the mission-e but I find $8k with the white brake is a bit too expensive. Is anyone here able to find a good set of aftermarket 21" wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s for around $4k?
RWD is not slow but definitely sluggish off the line especially for an EV. I test drove Turbo, 4s, and RWD and my wife picked the one in the middle. Turbo is too quick for normal use and RWD is too slow for a $100k car. On the other hand, I do feel RWD is the best value out of the bunch.
If the dealer had actually ordered the car for you in the system, he should give you a build sheet with the correct 2022 pricing.
Yeah, the configurator in US is still 2021. It is not reflecting my 2022 4s pricing.
I understand your rational about the discount and all. I would see a F82 to a Taycan RWD a downgrade on performance. As long as you are prepare for the downgrade, I think it will be fine.
Btw, I am a much older guy than you and I don't believe a car will do much on growing up or not. It is...
I am driving an F82 right now and the RWD is definitely slow in comparison. My wife is ordering the 4s and she felt the RWD was just too sluggish off the line. She felt quite strongly on why paying $100k and going backward.
Btw, G82 is a better car than the F82. I am struggling to decide to get...
In Porsche, yellow brake caliper is reserved for PCCB. I personally don't care but many of the die hard Porsche people (Rennlist) will look at painting regular brake caliper yellow as a poser.
Has the car being registered and the warranty has already started two years ago? Also, can the demo qualify for the federal and state tax rebates? What is the exact out of pocket cost different between the demo turbo and new 4s?
If it is my decision, if the car has never been registered and the...
I tested drove the turbo, 4s, and base before I put down a deposit for the 4s. I actually don't feel turbo is obscenely faster than the 4s for me to pay the $40k+ difference. However, I do feel the base is significantly slower and it justifies paying the $25k more for the 4s. I discussed it with...
Test drove the Turbo, 4S, and base. I did not feel much difference between the Turbo and 4S on how I drove on public road. The base was very sluggish off the line but felt similar to the 4s after it reaches 40 mph. I know I will not be happy to get the base. Because of the price differences...
