it appears that a lot of the comments against this idea are from CA residents.
which begs the question, how do these politicians who implement so many wackadoodle laws in CA remain in office?
price is a big part of the equation for me, I need to lower my overhead and I can save around 1k a month going with an EQE, I5 or lucid. the polestars can be had at bargain basement prices and other than range and overall blandness of the car might be worth looking at.
part of the equation is lowering my costs. a lucid, I5 or eqe would be less costly. I think the polestar is out because of range concerns. my son drives a gas genesis and likes that car but I am wary of the hyundais as a whole.
my lease is expiring in a couple of months and I am looking for a replacement.
right now I am considering Polestar, BMW I5, MB eqs, and a lucid.
another taycan is unlikely
can anyone offer any insights about these cars?
I get a chuckle from some of these comments, I would pay to have the noise maker removed from the car. I find it hard on my ears, the sound of the electric motors is more than enough noise from the car.
unless a very compelling offer is made by porsche for me to retain the car.
Only once did I replace a car with the same model. I had diesel MB that I drove for 9 years that I replaced with a new one.
my connectivity ends in mid February, the lease expiries mid May, there is nothing very important to me that warrants renewing the service, I'll survive the three months without it.
