The dealer just called mine goes direct to Portsmouth Porsche, expected early next week. As I understand, some dealers need their cars to go to Reading first if they don't have the facility to complete the full PDI onsite ... i THINK thats the case, something I read somewhere.

It's been discussed before on this forum somewhere, the conclusion was that when seen in person, the height it just fine.

Who is your dealership? Maybe not. My dealer couldn't confirm mine made it onto the ship. Delayed at Emden :(

Dealer intimated that mine might be on today's boat from Germany to UK. Eagerly awaiting confirmation. @mandoyoda maybe our cars are shipmates ?

I think mine is planned to ship this week on the boat leaving Friday 25th. Production complete 18th June and my dealer says usually the UK dealer gets it about 2 weeks after.

Build completed yesterday, so good news! Now waiting to hitch a ride to the UK. It's inching closer!

Thanks , ride quality was by biggest concern. I didn't check the box as I only had a few days to lock my build. I regretted it later when it showed up on so many 'must have' lists here. i feel better now! Thanks. If only the car would complete build and get over there!!!

I'm booked in Aug too. Quick tip, stay away from booking in July as due to the Grand Prix, some of the track is unavailable so you won't get the full experience. Get June or from late July.

I email my dealer weekly to ask how is going, he has pretty responsive. I'm sure they don't want to bear disappointing news but it's not their fault.

Thanks to this thread I asked my dealer and he said... Oh yeah! Call this number. So here you go 01327 855911 and they will search for you and your car and book you in. And yes you do , mine is a company purchase (lease). I suspect most taycans are company purchases.

My reg came through 21st May so already more than 2 week ago, I guess it's a last but that's is missing. Let's hope the 21st of June sticks!

I just email weekly for an update. I had a VIN (and a registration plate was allocated too!) So I'm not sure how close I am. My dealer ( Portsmouth) is pretty good to be honest but overral a bit frustrating that all cars are.seeing delays.
