This may be related to your checkbox setting in the preheat/cool settings to climatize your cabin for a few minutes the moment you unlock your car. Try unchecking this setting and your seat cooling won't appear to be randomly activating.

Does anyone know what the "Proximity sensors" checkbox in the PCM Central Display settings is for? On the Panamera, when you hover your hand close to the touchscreen, menus would fly out in anticipation of your selection...but on the Taycan, it doesn't do anything different with or without this...

Must say, despite the other shortcomings...I'm very happy with the homelink range in my Taycan as opening my garage door can be done 2 or 3 times as far away when compared to my other vehicles.

I also assigned the homelink task to the user definable button on the instrument cluster. I only have one homelink assignment in my list and it works fine for me. I push the instrument cluster button to open and again to close. It doesn't open the homelink screen on the PCM...it just sends...

Saw this acrylic undermounting plate for the OK Decal at the dealership yesterday. Tidy and symmetrical but I think @Chowster's would pass the aerodyamic test. :)

Thanks @6offsetin - I'll wait for Porsche to get back to me and will wait the requisite 2 weeks and keep my fingers crossed that at some point I will get to log in and get the connected stuff working. As @Chowster mentioned above, this is a minor inconvenience and certainly doesn't take away...

Thanks @Charlie - I did find it last night and tried resetting twice. How long does it take to reset as I was sitting there for 10 minutes waiting with the reset icon circling... I got inpatient and tapped the screen only to be presented with an error message saying there was a problem...

I have tried with privacy on and with it off - same issue.

Ok thanks. I'll try that once I can get my car logged on. My login button on the PCM is grey and can't sign in. So I am a guest in my own car right now. :(
