This reminds me of the software updates I had done last year too to my 2021. I used to be able to get 240 miles range, since the updates I rarely get 200 miles driving extremely carefully. I'm convinced they nerfed my car around the time ARB7 was announced.
I am having same issue, car not detected. Enet cable works and the connection shows up on network manager with an IP assigned, I’ve also tried setting a static IP. I have the enet cable connected direct to the network port, no adapters.
Great ok thanks for confirming - I wasn't sure if the Porsche Connect price was to cover the Vodaphone roaming charged of the on-board sim card. I thought it was. Thanks.
Hi all,
I've just let my Porsche Connect expire. I extended it last year, but it wasn't really of any value to me as my car doesn't get signal in the garage, and the car doesn't support wifi.
I just got my letter through for the campaign, should I renew my Porsche Connect so they can monitor...
Got my car back today - rapid turnaround! I had a brand new loaner Taycan in the meantime too.
My brakes are working perfectly now - better than ever, and the contact patches on the disks are perfect with no marks.
ABS pump was replaced and coded in, along with a full brake clean and brake...
I am a little concerned about permanent damage actually - but I also do trust this dealership they have been awesome. They're really thorough and I'm sure they will test them.
I looked back and it was March that I sent the images of my front disks, but I don't use the car that often. This is...
It happened when coming up to traffic after exciting the motorway and slowing down, I'd say a bit above 10mph but slowing down, maybe when it kicks over to the brakes? It's the same feeling when the PCCB are cold on that first time braking out of the garage (although you might tell me now that's...
Take a look at page 2 here it has some screenshots from the manual explaining: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/complete-brake-failure.19839/page-2
Me too d00d! I assumed mine was wet brakes or just cold, the PCCB are usually terrible the first time I use them on any drive. I live at the top of a hill and I'm used to the first stop taking more pedal press but after that they seem good.
95% of my journeys in the Taycan my young children...
My Taycan has gone in for failed brakes this week. 20k miles. I've had odd noises from the front for a while now and a vibration, but I also had uneven contact patterns showing on the front disks.
The dealership instructed me to brake more to clean the brakes when I sent over photos, but on a...
Just to keep the thread up to date for anyone else googling this issue, Tooney has found another possible relevant TSB here: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/anyone-experience-buzzing-from-steering-wheel.14628/post-304312
My car is booked in again at the OPC next month to try diagnose...
Hi Tooney,
My OPC called me and said they have no record of that document at all, they said it might be because it's overseas (I'm in the UK).I mentioned the document has Y1A on there and mine is that model. They also said they don't have that equipment.
It matches my car's symptoms exactly...
Sadly mine will be the same in 2 years time, it's already worth less than my final payment by quite a bit. I emailed my finance company (CA Auto Finance) to ask if the final payment is negotiable in these circumstances, but they said absolutely not. I would likely buy it if I wasn't losing out...
Thank you! I've just sent that exact link to my service advisor :) I sent a previous TSB that someone linked to, but it didn't apply to my car because mine has PCCB. The fix from the other TSB was dampers added to the steering column. Mine does feel like it could be a wheel bearing, but I...
Had mine swapped under warranty. Took 3 visits to the OPC to persuade them. They cleaned them out the first visits apparently, but it was a temporary fix. When finally replaced, the old ones were seized solid. The new ones have a completely different arch liner design and the fans have covers on...
I’ve seen a similar TSB for coated brakes but I have PCCB carbon ceramics. I sent the document to my service manager who discussed it with the tech but it didn’t include my car. The suggested fix was similar as your link, added dampeners on the steering column.
Just an update to this. Took the car on a long drive down to London and back - I just can't ignore the grinding/vibration - I've too much mechanical sympathy it's awful. If I were test driving a car to buy, and it did what my car does, I wouldn't buy it. I'm going to try again to get it looked...
