  1. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

Insane gains ... Question, are the 1.1 and 1.2 controllers interchangeable? If I get one for my 1.1 and then trade the car in for a 1.2 later, can I have the extra controller reprogrammed for that?
  2. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

for regen, no blending, but for OPD and coming to a stop, it does engage the mechanical brakes. that's all I meant.
  3. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

I'm guessing prj means that there is no blended braking control for the regen system in the computer. Since Porsche didn't program a true OPD system from the beginning, prj cannot just add that functionality in.
  4. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

Thats great to hear, thank you for all your hard work.
  5. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

I know within the VAG group it's a meme to crap on one pedal driving, but giving us the option would be nice. I drive my car a lot, and I'm not always on open highways where coasting is the best option. OPD in the city or in very heavy traffic is VERY NICE.
  6. Retrofitting original sport chrono clock

I think it ruins the looks of the nice clean dash. It doesn't do anything useful for me and it sticks out like a pimple in my vision while driving.
  7. NHTSA Complaints - Unexpected braking at highway speeds - July 26, 2025 and Sept. 19, 2025

to clarify this is with ACC/Innodrive OFF. Straight, curved, traffic, no traffic, happens randomly. Sometimes I can drive an hour without it happening, sometimes I do a short 15 minute drive and it happens 2+ times. Lots of complaints about it online. Even Matt Farah has the issue on his new...
  8. Retrofitting original sport chrono clock

nice writeup! I guess I'm the only one that doesn't like mine, I did the opposite :(
  9. Android auto (wireless) drops

I can confirm that it happens to me in a certain spot in downtown LA coming off of the freeway and also in Las Vegas near the north side of the strip coming off the freeway.
  10. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

That explains it really well. I drive in sport/sport around the city, and normal on the freeway. I will probably grab the tune next month, already spent my fun money this month  Hopefully the J1.2 will be cheap enough when I trade this one in 3 years from now. I really want that active...
  11. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

Thank you for the quick reply! I thought as much but wanted to make sure. I really hate using sport plus because of the fans.
  12. Part 3: The Quest for the Perfect Tune

Not sure if it has been asked. What about the cooling system? I know when I am in sport plus on my '20 Turbo the cooling fans are extremely loud all the time. Does this happen with the tune as well in modes other than sport plus?
  13. Anyone with PIWIS?

Just picked up a PIWIS. Didn't see these in the thread, if anyone knows where to find them. If not maybe I'll do some digging this weekend. 1. side markers (front wheel arches) off by default, and only blink when signals are on. 2. never engage rear wing (I want it down always). 3. more/custom...
  14. 🔋 Baseline for HV Battery SoH Performance (Battery Degradation Data by Taycan Owners)

    1) no idea 2) 87.63% 3) 57k 4) Charge at home but I use DC on trips, and previous owner (2020-2023) may have DC charged more? 5) 2020 Turbo
  15. Unexpected issue with H&R spacer kit 7 mm all-around

I have rear steering, 12mm spacer equivalent offset on OEM sized wheels (built them to spec of the mission-e wheel with 12mm spacers) and new Pirelli P Zero R in the OEM size (which are 1" wider and slightly taller than the GoodYear F1 of the same size) and have not had any rubbing issues at...
  16. That new Brake retrofit 👍👌

Mine is in right now. When I took it in there was no indication of parts shortage or any question about it at all. They are also replacing my brake booster for some reason. I hope to have it back tomorrow with some updates to brake feel.
  17. taycan pcm processor/ram upgrade?

The newer models of Taycan have updated hardware, the older ones like my 2020 are pretty slow and AA/CP takes FOREVER to connect when first starting the car. The new models pretty much connect immediately. Reminded of this every time I get a loaner.
  18. Porsche Taycan Aftermarket Wheel

what is rain? (we rarely see rain here) The P Zero R is just the regular street tire, Max Performance Summer. Should compete with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S etc. They should be fine in some rain. https://www.pirelli.com/tyres/en-ww/car/catalogue/product/p-zero-r "The New P ZERO™ R is the...
  19. Porsche Taycan Aftermarket Wheel

Got the new P Zero R Taycan tires installed on the new wheels today. They are much wider than the F1 Asymmetric 3, about 1" front and back, in the same sizes (265/305). Car is filthy, washed it after I took all the pics unfortunately.
