The EV6 GT had that back in 2022 (2023 YM). I believe the HI5N uses it for both. The GT also uses dual 3-phase inverters for the rear motor, along with hairpin winding, and oil flushing the coil. This is why the EV6 GT can run up to 162mph without needing a 2-speed transmission: 21K rpm motors.
I will just re-post what I posted in another forum:
While I was getting my ICCU SC302 update done, I walked next door to the Hyundai dealer. HI5N on display!
Interior: It's not low class, it's just a different style. I like the EV6 GT's, but the HI5N is equally nice, and the vented seats are...
HmG is all about fun and the experience. They're absolutely loose cannons in today's stodgy world of limiting liabilities. I really appreciate that about them. While I am not enticed by the N, most people who have driven them really like them, in their entirety.
I tested this theory again, and I must have misremembered, or it charges faster when warmed up (the day was 66*f) when I tried this, but it maintained about 75kw until around the high 80's/low 90's where it dropped to @50kw, and then tapered down ultimately to 11-13kw at 100%. I did not...
The GT's came with preconditioning, etc. so I cannot vouch for not having it except in my Volvo C40, it was miserably slow in the cold, but EA stations also had some issues, so I am not sure where the blame should be placed, there. The GT has a different suspension setup than the Wind/GT-L, and...
I know this does not help some UK/AUS folks, as they do not have these, but the Pilot Sport All Season 4s that I ran on my Volvo C40 got me through some NASTY ice storm weather in the Ozarks. Truthfully I was stupid to have driven home, but I have animals and must feed them. The roads were so...
EV6 GT owner here,
I still pull 100+ well past 80%. I believe it only drops to under 75kw after 90%. No obviously not in the winter, but in warm weather? Yes.
Part of what I like about the EV6 GT is that it doesn't taper off. It doesn't fall on its face. It just continues to dole out hate no...
