  1. All-weather Floor Mats & Boot Liner?

I use Tuxmat and they are great for front seats and trunk.
  2. Feature requests?

Lol true. on that note is using direct charging a thing they people do constantly? I thought it was bad for the battery so a “special occasion” thing.
  3. Feature requests?

Not sure if this has been addressed but it would be nice to have software feature requests sent to Porsche somehow. A large group like this would be a good resource for them to refine their product. I will start: "one and done" direct charge mode where you don't have to remember to turn it...
  4. New charging error on Tesla charger

It’s actually the Porsche app that indicates a charging error and the car isn’t charged the next morning.
  5. New charging error on Tesla charger

I have a Tesla Tap and Tesla charger which were charging my Taycan fine for last few months. Now I get an almost immediate charging error and halt to charging. Anyone have same issue or ideas to correct? Powering off the charger didn't work.
  6. Would anybody like a setting which emulates the uneven power delivery in IC engines?

The main reason I switched to EV was how enjoyable the torque curve was so no for me. Just feed in the throttle slowly and you have your emulation.
  7. Extreme Winter Driving pros and cons with Taycan

Never but that’s distressing and dangerous if you need to get somewhere in the cold.
  8. Extreme Winter Driving pros and cons with Taycan

I have had significant wheel packing and also other crevices like the wheel wells and wiper area. Unlike an ICE vehicle, it doesn’t get hot to melt all that. Having said that, it’s not a huge problem. Only when wet snow gets hit by a cold snap. Re tires, I have used Nokian in my other vehicle...
  9. Extreme Winter Driving pros and cons with Taycan

I have had lots of sensor problems but they all seem to be related to icing and not specifically temperatures.
  10. Extreme Winter Driving pros and cons with Taycan

I am using continental winter contact TS860 s 255x19 front and 275x19 rear. Winter tires are always tough to optimize. Deep snow you want narrow high profile with more of a lug. Frozen asphalt and ice you want wider and less tread. I have a 1982 911sc on basically tractor tires and it is greet...
  11. Extreme Winter Driving pros and cons with Taycan

Not usually but almost always in Whistler an hour away! The drive up can be pretty messy and two feet of snow overnight is not unusual.
  12. Extreme Winter Driving pros and cons with Taycan

Actually super fun four wheel drifting and donuts :)
  13. Extreme Winter Driving pros and cons with Taycan

I drive into the Canadian ski mountains weekly with my Taycan 4S CT and point out the following for those doing winter driving research: Pro's Traction is excellent, better than my Macan. Also observed on my Tesla, the Taycan power deliver seems much smarter that mechanical differentials...
  14. Gravel mode test experience

I have tested the gravel mode in various deep winter conditions in the mountains. My main take away is that the traction control seems to force power to all four wheels with gravel mode. With gravel mode off the car tries to favour the wheels with the most grip and stabilizes the car under...
  15. Anyone have a Taycan and a Macan?

I just sold my Macan and bought a Taycan. The storage space is actually very similar unless you pack the Macan right to the ceiling in which case you get a bit more headroom. The Taycan is way better driving experience and better in the snow and slippery roads. Backseats are not much roomier in...
  16. First impressions on 2022 4SCT and Canadian winter experience

I bought a demo 4SCT and thought I would report my experience driving in the Canadian winter. I also have a Tesla Y to compare to. Over all the car performs very well in significant snow. Traction management is excellent. Snow tires are installed. Some things to note: Range at average...
  17. 2023 CT not connecting to app

Why on earth did Porsche not include wifi support for areas outside LTE coverage??
