I would ask to change those seal rubbers and the problem is solved?
I don't have this problem on my Taycan but I had this problem on my, first car ever, Alfa Romeo Mito. It was caused by bad weather and being always outside. Of course the reason why those going green could be something else.
Something I didn't read in the opening post, what is the price difference between the 2 CARS?
But in short I would say:
- If your priority is accelerating (0-100) and performance then the answer is that you need to buy the Turbo.
- If you are OCD like me and don't want to ride a used car (I...
Despite the quality on Taycan less then on the 911 (I can compare because I have a 911 and a Taycan) I would immediately buy a Taycan again.
It's one of the few EV's that rides like a 'real' car. I thinks owners will understand what I mean.
I have a full Xpel PPF installed and I'm happy with it. But I also had PPF on some other cars so for me it's a no brainer.
But I would only do it if you are car passioned, you love your car and you want your car in the best condition.
If you don't mind getting a stone chip or you don't going to...
I totally understand and agree this point but does the price of a used Taycan outweigh a warranty of a new Taycan (for sure with battery problems)?
Of course my quote depends on the price difference between the used and a new Taycan. But when I ordered mine the difference was minimal.
I don't think it's only depreciation of the Taycan but just the whole EV-cars sector.
I have a own example that EV-cars do not retain their value at all. Before I got my Taycan ST I had an Audi Q4 ETRON sportback which costed 80K euros. I bought the ETRON as my 'personal company car'. I had...
I had this once!
What worked for me was closing the car en let it closed for some time (so the car goes to sleep). Then I went back, openend the car and the trunk would open again. Think it was a software bug. Don't know if you gonna have the same problem but you can't loose anything with...
Dear Belgium Taycan riders, has someone of you ever changed the window trim on your Taycan?
Can you only change the trim or you also need to replace window/other parts?
Unfortunately I have a big stone chip on my gloss black trim on the drivers side, smallest, rear window. I know a car is...
Hello Raphie, with replacing the sill did you mean the black gloss window trim parts? If so, do you really need to replace the complete window when you only need a new trim part?
My one month old Taycan Sport Turismo has a stone chip on the drivers side, smallest, rear window and my OCD is...
Yesterday i did some shopping and on the parking there was a Taycan (sedan) and a newer Macan (not EV). I looked inside both cars and both cars had the same air bubbles. The Taycan on the driver’s side and the Macan in both sides.
I think the quality of the leather and padding isn’t anymore at...
Hello everyone, my 2023 Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo is only one month old and I have driven only about 500 km but the 18 way sport seats (full leather interior) unfortunately already have goy some air pockets, see pic. Is this normal?
Extra note: This picture was just taken when I had driven...
Hello everyone,
My Tacan ST is 2 weeks old and I'm enjoying it a lot.
But In the last 2 weeks I have encountered a strange issue. At home I have a charging box from MINI (it came with my Mini Countryman Hybride) so never bought something else because it always worked perfectly.
I used it on...
Thanks for the video! I have this video but didn't found is, let's say, very clear how to remove the plastic parts (it's go fast is that video and angle wasn't super). What Fred showed in picture was very clear.
Maybe if you put some isolation tape around the tool it would prevent marks or...
A big thumbs up for you FredC057. This is just what I searched for. Never found something, how to install it, on YouTube.
In the time you have used it never had any problems with it?
Is the removal from the cache difficult with the tool? I'm little bit scared I would break some plastic part...
The past 5 years I’m using Gyeon products and I’m very happy about them.
Some products i use from gyeon are: Foam, bath, quick detailer, tire cleaner, wheel cleaner, interior/vinyl cleaner, glass cleaner, leather cleaner mild and if you have a PPF installed they also have a bath product...
A new design for the B-Pillar.
I’m 193cm (6’4”) and i just can’t get in and out the car without touching it. My Taycan is one week old and I’m already getting marks on the pillar (OCD) while I’m trying to get in and out with much care and caution.
I know it’s a know issue so i hope they solve...
Out curiosity i was reproducing my Taycan ST on the facelift and while there are thing standard (air suspension, matrix LED, brushed alu door guards…) they also made more stuff to pay for. Some options (like learher, head beam assist…) they have split in several option that made it more...
Every time that I read that the Taycan RWD is much slower than the 4S I'm always thinking by myself if those drivers are constantly doing kick downs?
Maybe people that are complaining about this are living somewhere without a lot of cars and that you have the possibility to drive fast.
I had...
