don't do it....
it will cost you less to repair paint chips and imperfections than to inevitably replace the PPF in two-years time
My car had PPF put on the entire front and there are so many tears all over the bumper area that it needs to be replaced two years later as this guy describes...
@Dr Bob
You state that bottom and top 10% are the limits one should not go over, but then introduce those different numbers of 25 and 85%, so called knees.
Which ones is it then: 10-90 or 25-85?
yeah, that full power is satisfying not only at launch but when passing--OMG.
i think Redshift also offers reprogramming of the throttle response and a stronger regen breaking, but i did not add those.
btw, thanks for the link for the bracket. otherwise it looked odd.
look at this
10.37 @130.02 was achievable on the strip on a 2020 TS, so i think @ElectricV8Biturbo numbers are believable, especially considering that Redshift claims a boost in horsepower of 800+ as well.
Plus, that 2020 Turbo S hit those numbers before Porsche released a performance update...
yes, i am happy but not for the performance improvement which is not significant on Turbo S, but for the fact that i don't have to do the stupid break/accelerator pedal hold to activate full power.
thanks for the rear windshield suggestion on Draggy-i have to try that. I have a Turbo S and did a pre and post Redshift Draggies, but they all are invalid due to low satelites. I must say that not even after the upgrade did i see a 10.33 at 131. I saw a 10.5 at 129. The battery was at 80% and...
Porsche Stevens Creek, which is probably what @DerekS will be using, has not been expensive for me. For example, 20k service was around $800. All other things were covered by warranty and so 0 cost so far.
Just drive that damn car when you get it and don't hoard it for the weekends because when it comes time to sell it, the extra money you will claim due to low miles is worth squat.
I had a similar shock when i learned that here in the US, my Rivian R1T insurance underwriter called Nationwide, wanted some crazy amount of around $8k for my Turbo S and then State Farm about $3K--go figure.
You could continue to discredit yourself by spreading that BS that you know better than Porsche FAQ - Porsche USA on what is the optimal temperature for maximum DC charging speeds, or you could book an appointment to have your broken car looked at.
-3 Bass
+1 Treble
Auro 3D at 4 alternating between Pure and Live sometimes.
Although the Pure setting sounded like garbage prior to the most-recent PCM update, not so much anymore.
This is what i was looking for: how to disable key fob during car wash. Thanks for that!
BTW, the action you describe causes illumination for a fraction of a second only and pressing any button afterwards causes a short flicker--i think it means the fob has been reactivated?
Huge improvements?
0.2 sec 0-60
0.5 sec ¼ mile
10 mph higher trap speed (139 vs 129)?
All for $100,000+ price difference vs. slightly used Turbo S ('20-'22)?
but it will look ugly over there and taking it off at some point will leave marks forever :(
and i 've got the DRG70, but it flips...
Where does he mount the draggy do you think?
I have to find out if gluing the magnetic pad on top of my dashboard is necessary or not?
I am getting "low satellites" message on my draggy all the time.
Ha, ha!
What a joke. I was an unfortunate owner of one 21' Mach-E GT Performance Edition and had experienced the High Voltage Junction Box relay meltdown for which Ford only recently issued a recall. Pretty much every model year had the HVJB failure because Ford designed it with insufficient...
