Can you not extend the factory warranty. It doesn't need to be in warranty to do that but Porsche will want to do a 111 point check first. It can be extended up to it's 15th birthday. That's the way it works in Europe, I think the states is the same.

I've had this with Volvo not Porsche, they ended up paying until my car was ready, I went straight to their customer care not the garage., it's not your fault. They need to give you something to keep you going.
