An even better alternative I have been using for a while is the app ”ChargeFinder”. There is also a web version, but with some fewer functions. Https://chargefinder.com
The thing with Chargefinder is that you can see LIVE/Realtime status for availability and also Live pricing.
In Chargefinder...
Seems to be part of EA chargers. I was curious to look this up and did find on Chargefinder app that it is available. I use this app all the time to find good info about charging stations here in Europe and was surprised that all US chargers also seems to be listed with realtime info for all the...
Totally agree and many good points with the apple to apple comparisons. I probably just realised that I'm not a "SUV"-person and prefer the tight and hunkered down feeling of the Taycan. The new Macan is in isolation a great car with many pros also (towing capacity, better back seats, easier to...
Had a Macan Turbo EV for half a day covering about 300 km on mixed roads (fully optioned with rear steer, burmester, head-up display, insulated glass, etc) . I came away rather disappointed unfortunately. The drive is not even close to the Taycan and the steering feels numb and not as responsive...
Seems like your loaner car (2025) only had the Back-up camera option and not the 360 surround view. Only opting for the backup-camera gives a lot wors camera quality in both .1 and .2 Taycan. Based on your pictures I would say that the image quality is identical with surround view on .1 and .2.
One of the biggest factors in Kyles test are the 21” narrow aero wheels running on Hankook Ion EV. I have experienced the Hankook Ion wheels and to be honest, they will increase range with about 15% compared to the NFO Pirelli P Zero and that’s on 305/265 width. Kyle was using 285/245 in his...
That's true, I haven't found such feature either. However, I find the v3 to be equally as good even though the cables are shorter. Have no problems using those and the max kw speed is the same on v3/v4 (at least for now until Tesla upgrade v4 to higher capacity and with 800v support)
It was not my intention to say that your google map is bad and understand the purpose :)However, v3/v4 are easy to find on ChargeFinder, just select 250kw+ in the filter and all v2 will disappear
either way, it's good to have multiple options to find information :like:
Great news that Tesla open up more chargers in the UK. I highly recommend ChargeFinder app if you want to find all those in an easy way instead of that google map thing. In ChargeFinder you will see realtime availability/prices, can filter on Tesla open for all and also see all other networks on...
I’m looking for some new summer tyres for my 21” wheels. I currently have the Pirelli P Zero NF0 and they are not the best from noise and range perspective. Those new Hankook Ion tyres seems very interesting. I have seen that they are available as non NF0 certified in the factory spec 305/30...
Lot's of charging stations missing in Porsche app/car unfortunately. Also highly recommend using ChargeFinder app to find all options. Zap map is not very updated either after my comparisons. ChargeFinder show you realtime info for almost every charging stations and have som powerful filters...
I bought a cheap version locally for about 25 EUR. Mine is 2000 W and has a temperature range of 50-600 degrees. I ran at around 300-400 degrees.
Here is a link to a similar one that I use, but I think it doesn't matter which model...
I had the same issue on mine (black full leather, 18-way, without ventilation). I used a heat gun on medium heat for 3-4 minutes (distance of about 10-15 cm from the leather surface) circulating over the saggy area. The heat shrinks the leather and the bubbles dissappear like magic. Seat looks...
Highly recommend using ChargeFinder app. Much better updated than the google link posted above and Zapmap for those in the UK. There are som great filters in Chargefinder app and it will show live status and how long a certain connector has been occupied/free. Also show realtime info and prices...
That was very interesting. It's the first MY2020 I've heard of that doesn't have 3d surround view despite the 360 camera + sensors. Wondering then which additional option is needed on MY2020 to get 3d surround view in PCM?
It will be very interesting to hear what response the OP gets from his...
Yes, I'm well aware of the software bug etc, but since we're passed that software update that is not longer relevant. What I tried to explain is that MY2020 cars came with those additional sensors when Surround view was optioned and MY2020 cars still have the 3d view enabled. This was all in...
MY2020 cars that was specified with Surround View (without Automatic parking assist) receive additional sensors (see attached photo where I've marked those sensors with red). All cars having those additional sensors got the 3d surround view with additional camera views in the PCM.
Those two...
