What you have is a non functional PCM. Not a gripe about connected service

    Porsche Connect Ending

agreed, and honestly, the mobile app trip and charger planner is intuitive, has many features, and is very accurate. IMO, having a connected car is imperative for the full experience of a modern EV. I always pay for the data. In my prior BMWs, real time traffic information (BMW is more...

Idea: carbon fiber replacement roof for ct

Wow what a project. I think the issue you'll run into is the Taycan typically is a leased vehicle and rarely modified. Most owners would probably be hesitant to make such a big modification. I think maybe by 2030 when these cars are in the $50s and their 3rd or 4th owners there will be...

May 2026 Trip, Massachusetts to Minnesota Roundtrip (3100 miles)

I had similar experience with Circle K and gave up. I couldn't recover my pw after numerous attempts. Luckily in California, today, State law forces all new installs to accept direct tap payments.

    22KW OBC downgrade compensation

Also looking for compensation for the nerfed 9.2 kw OBC since I'm charging slower than a Bolt on a L2.

This last Wiessach is a very uninspiring poverty spec. https://irvine.porsche.com/en/inventory/porsche/porsche-taycan-turbo-gt-with-weissach-package-new-25ZPRZ?category=taycan-turbo-gt-sport-limousine-with-weissach-package&condition=new&modelSeries=taycan

(Pic request) Ice Grey and Mission-E wheel variants

Yeah, my measure is a non scientific urban highway drive (about 1 hr round trip). I will take it on a short road trip this week (no charge required).

(Pic request) Ice Grey and Mission-E wheel variants

My initial math on my driving behavior: a 0.1-0.2 miles/kwh difference. On the GTS it's 8 to 16 mile range penalty, or 3%-6% There's a recent review from a Taycan social media owner. Summary: original Mission E wheels are not considered aerodynamically efficient compared to other options...

    Turbo GT discontinued?

Interesting, so for this year, if you find the right dealer you still have an opportunity to put a customized allocation in?

    Turbo GT discontinued?

Interesting. There are only 7 Turbo GTs (1.of which is a CPO) for sale in the country. It's too bad you cannot customize a new car anymore. I do not love most of how the current 7 are built. If true, sounds like there was only a 1 year window to customize.
