Thanks, I was not suggesting it is normal to have different tyres. Just saying you need to pay attention to the NF number as well (which is specific to Porsche) more than what I did, as it is not normal (at least for me and for others who have posted) to look out for such things. I checked it...
I have had the comms issue for months (showing connected, but no app connection, logged out, reset PCM, cannot log back in). It has been in at the dealer to look at, but they were unable to fix so it had to be booked back in for a 'hard reset' which in the J1.2 requires a lot of work to remove...
I had a tyre replaced after a pothole engagement a few months back. Eagle F1, Porsche approved tyre etc.. I did not pay much attention to the NF rating. My car is in at the Porsche dealer now and they called to say that the NF rating should be consistent, i.e. all NF0 or all NF1,2 etc...
I have that option on my GTS. The right one is push to pass, which is better than the small button and I do use this one. The left paddle turns recuperation on or off (does not go to Auto, even if you hold it), I do not use this as I have mine on Auto all the time.
Not sure if they plan on doing...
Thanks. I just handed over the keys just now and sat in the dealership, otherwise I would have given that a go. Will update on what the fix was if I can find out.
Mine is in to be looked at tomorrow. I think it is communication module on mine. Came up with an emergency call fault and no longer updates in the App. Tried all the resets and now cannot log into the car, everything else is perfect.
I had the first gen 4s, which I absolutely loved. I was planning on getting the turbo, but the new GTS has more power than the old turbo so a few months ago I bought a used j1.2 GTS, which had already lost over £40k since new. The extra power and range are a big plus and charging is slightly...
I am with Admiral, renewal was £1090, previous yr was £865 (nothing changed), checked confused.com and was getting £960, so went onto the Admiral website and there is a 'I am not happy with the renewal price' and it came back with £830 (all automated online). I did change my mileage down a...
I had mine replaced on my previous Taycan. I decided to have it replaced as I did not want any other issues to be blamed on it being damaged as it was still under warranty. I think mine was around £600. Surprisingly not that hard to do on the UK roads, particularly country lanes, you can easily...
I had my 4S without it as I thought it was a gimmick, however I have only had my GTS for a couple of days but I am loving the Sports Sound. It may wear off, but worth the extra and increases the size of my grin when I am driving it. So much so the diamond button on the steering wheel has the...
Mine is all fixed. It was an issue with the electrics, a clean break in the wiring. I had a new GTS loaner which was lovely, I don't mind having the issues as much if they provide me with a similar car.
I would recommend Octopus. Works perfectly for me and they installed the smart meter for me. Intelligent Octopus go at the 7.5p rate.
Not sure what has happened to my trip data, but it is pretty impressive (average speed and consumption) Shame it is not true.
Has anyone figured out how to use charging profiles but get rid of the 25% minimum charge?
The reason I ask - I arrive home at 9pm, I have about 10% battery left. I want to plug in my car and relax, however my car will then charge to 25% straight away and then it stops and then charges...
With Octopus Intelligent, you will not see it in the porsche app. You will however see it in the Octopus App, on the bottom of the app, when your car is plugged in you will see a new icon called 'devices', this will show your charging schedule and the amount charged.
Got mine back today. Two new tyres, PCM recall and Battery Pressure check which I think was another recall and the heater sorted., I was told this was the third iteration of the heater. They had it for 3 days. All running well now and very pleased to get it back. The smile driving across country...
I have a Zappi 2. This works well with Intelligent Octopus (i.e. charging at 7.5p on a set scheduled usually overnight), but the Zappi does not work with OVO, (so worth thinking about who you will use and checking the compatibility) It is not as good looking as the Anderson one though. Finding...
My car is in to have the heater sorted as well. So received the Health Check; the tyres are down to the cords, on the inside, but still within legal limit across the tyre. This does not seem right to me and did not get a convincing response why. Worst thing is it is dangerous, I check the tyres...
Local dealership, cannot fit me in until mid Feb. Advised calling Porsche Assist, these guys are basically the AA badged as Porsche Assist and they work with Enterprise to provide a replacement car. Which he said could be something like an Astra. So for a month and half I pay for a Taycan and...
