Just to update, Porsche HQ have confirmed they are looking at the issue and hope to respond early next week. I assume they are trying to figure out if they have the confidence to stand behind the centre. Will keep you posted

It’s Porsche Leicester that are denying the warranty claim.

The car is still under the new car warranty which I believe is provided by Porsche.

Thanks for all the responses. Porsche HQ are due to call me tomorrow. I will see what they say but will follow the approach described above should they not agree to the repair under warranty immediately.
