  1. Taycan total Loss After One Pay

You can tell. Especially in the rear. There’s tons of room back there. (That’s what she said)
  2. Taycan total Loss After One Pay

It’s actually pretty zippy for being such a big car. No theater but I did get the massaging seats.
  3. Taycan total Loss After One Pay

I leased an i7. Compared to the Taycan this thing is built like a tank and has no rattles or creeks. Got a killer deal on it also. However, I’ll greatly miss the looks and driving dynamics of the Taycan.
  4. Taycan total Loss After One Pay

I did a one pay lease about a year ago. Was rear ended in October and long story short car was finally deemed a total loss recently. For anyone wondering, insurance company paid off Porsche and then sent me a check for the overages. So there is no risk with a one pay.
  5. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

Vehicle is now at the dealer for HV reactivation and I’m being told the pyro fuse has deployed and that it is not available separately from the HV battery. For anyone who has been through this: Was the entire battery actually replaced, or is there a Porsche repair procedure for the pyro...

Mine is at 53k as of now
  7. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

We both have the same insurance. I filed through my policy and they are paying. I’m in a Rivian R1S.
  8. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

My car is still in the shop awaiting parts. 1 of four structural parts have arrived. The other three still have no ETA. Per body shop, the battery tray, coolant lines, and mounting points for the battery tray are intact so they won’t be removing the tray. I convinced them to run PIWIS at the...
  9. Three Months without the Taycan - Porsche cannot care less....

I’m in almost the identical situation as you. Five weeks ago I got rear ended in my 2025 Taycan 4CT that I leased in June. It’s a 52k repair(so far) that my insurance has authorized. As of today, the major panels have yet to arrive and there is currently no ETA. Insane. I was wondering how your...
  10. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

Update: so total repairs are about 50k and my insurance company approved repairs. However, they did no diagnostics on the HV battery and Mercury so far refuses to pay the 350 for the diagnostics. Should I just pay the 350? The car did show electrical system error and has no power, though from...
  11. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

Can I file a finished value claim even though it’s a lease?
  12. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

Thanks. I appreciate it. The bill so far is more than double that and growing. They also still need to tow it to a Porsche dealer to deactivate the battery and run diagnostics there. Car showed electrical system right after being hit. Maybe it was just a protective mechanism though. I’m...
  13. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

Looks like that, but we’ll see. I’ll update once I know more.
  14. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

I’m doing ok. Thank you for asking.
  15. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

Damage is worse than it looks I believe. Rear panel apparently needs to be completely replaced. We’ll see though.
  16. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

    That makes sense.
  17. Rear Ended With Structural Damage

10 days ago I was rear ended by a 17 year old kid. . He said he was going 55-60. Most recent update from Porsche approved body shop. They are waiting for inspector from my insurance company come to review the revised estimate. : There is currently no physical or code-related damage to the...

Man. This is crazy. I dont know if I would’ve messed it of if I knew these risks. Luckily mine is a CT so clearance is a bit higher. God forbid you go into gravel more tho
  19. Underbody Protection Panel damaged. Batteries and coolant lines need inspection. $72.5K replacement & labor cost. Dealership is Tom Wood in Indiana

Finally finished the post. Insane. Makes me not want to take my car into service for any reason until I drop it off in two years when my lease is up. “You need a new Johnson Rod” come to life.

Saw the notification in my message center but it’s very sparse on details. Anybody know what this update entails?
