Taycan total Loss After One Pay

I did a one pay lease about a year ago. Was rear ended in October and long story short car was finally deemed a total loss recently. For anyone wondering, insurance company paid off Porsche and then sent me a check for the overages. So there is no risk with a one pay.

Sorry about your car’s total loss but glad you in the end were made whole. I also appreciate your providing definite information about a one pay then total loss, for we have had quite a few posts here and on other forums that once you do a one pay and your car is totaled you are SOL.

I always do a one-pay and again thank you for sharing your actual “fully made whole” experience with it. What are you going to replace your Taycan with if I might ask?

I leased an i7. Compared to the Taycan this thing is built like a tank and has no rattles or creeks. Got a killer deal on it also. However, I’ll greatly miss the looks and driving dynamics of the Taycan.

It’s actually pretty zippy for being such a big car. No theater but I did get the massaging seats.
