So, my production was finished on August 29th. It has not moved to the next milestone ('in transit to Emden', which is still listed as August 30th), currently, this milestone is 5 weeks late
Can it still make the 'on vessel' date of October 14? or is that just a placeholder ??
I am... everyone has a different story.
My 2021 Taycan S was totalled by an idiot driver, here in FL. I have a new one on order, expected late November (maybe??)
Anyway, I've been looking at a Genesis GV60, obviously a much different car. Quirky looking and half the price.. Can't decide..
if you lease the car for 3 years, you may not care about the long term battery longevity.
so, based on this analysis, charging to 100% gives you the extra range when needed with little downside..
So, all these cars that are waiting for the 12v battery -- are they waiting outside for months unprotected ? I garage my car, I wouldn't leave it outside for months..
I have my 2nd Taycan on order, my first one was totaled my a crazy driver here in FL.
anyway, I am also thinking of the GV60- i like the looks - it is also half the price of the Taycan
The GV is not for sale here in FL. so, whichever one comes first
here is the link with the news about the strike:
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/is-anyone-tracking-daily-activity-at-port-emden.11965/page-2
one of the other threads said the labor strike in Emden has been settled.
I have the same dates (9/16- production complete -- 11/4- on vessel)
i am hoping that with the strike settled, they can shorten the 'on-vessel' date by many weeks
an update from my SA:
was informed today that the $7500 will not apply to Leased vehicles any longer once signed off by President.
it may apply later for purchase for those claiming on income tax credit????
