December 2022 Deliveries

Starting the December 2022 deliveries, as with my car missing the glovis sun, the next west coast bound ship is expected to pick up in late October and arrive in Benicia beginning of December. Know that there are a number of other west coast orders in the same situation as me. My TYD has not updated to reflect the latest situation, as the current 10/14 on vessel was just a placeholder as it was for many people, and not tied to an actual boat

New US West Coast vessel schedule dropped...

Glovis Sigma - no change - Emden 11/01 - San Diego 11/30 - Benicia 12/03
Glovis Sun - arriving in Benicia one day later than the previous schedule but we probably don't care about that since I have not heard that any Taycan got on it.

Well, fingers crossed that we have to get on that next boat. Otherwise we (with July build starts) are looking at taking deliveries of our 2022s in 2023...

I think Kaytan's status is a pretty good indication of ours.
His or her car was arrived at the port at the end of July but didn't get on the boat until a month later.

Anybody else have TYD update today? I no longer show the (obviously placeholder) mid October on vessel date that many of us had. It’s now showing a more plausible November 4th. I’ve been ready for transport since Aug 30, so I’m hoping I finally get a battery this month.

Yep, just checked and mine did. Same placeholder of 11/4 (FYI Pop always had this 11/4 placeholder, and not the 10/14)

By the way, the way everyone is just getting pushed back to the same date matches my theory about what they do with TYD, and just blanket pushing back people's date to the same placeholder when things get too close

my time to dealer delivery jumped from 30 days to 50. now showing on vessel Nov. 4, was Oct. 14

Yes, my Scheduled for Production went from estimated to actual today Oct 5! Ever since I got my allocation last month and started following TYD, the actual dates have been faithful to the estimated dates within 1-2 days. Hope it stays on schedule, though I’m not holding my breath.
