When it works it’s fine , but compared to the cayenne or Range Rover it’s not in same league for speed and heat output.although you don’t get any fuel, oil smell
I get the same figures, not a concern for me but can understand people get worried about range.
I was coming back from France in -4 and snow last year and had to stop every hour as showed 100mike range. Porsche just told me the mirrors only come on with rear screen heating. Mine still don’t...
It can be a nightmare. My solution is set charger (Andersen) for 11-30-0530 turn of octopus intelligence as this messes up system and they don’t always charge at lower rate when out of cheap hours. Set Porsche profile to 80% max, though this isn’t strictly necessary if you wait till your low...
I put 240kwh in may which works out at 2.13 mi/ kWh this is accurate,so they’re overcooking it approx 20% . My long term which is missing 9k miles from a earlier reboot by Porsche shows 3.5 mi/kwh which is outrageous!
It happens regularly on mine ,either can’t open or opens halfway. Had both replaced and still happens.. nearly cost me a trip away but Porsche managed to get me a loan car. Along with the heater and car play connections it’s one of the idiosyncrasies of the taycan !
Congratulations, they are a fantastic car I hope you enjoy as much as the taycan. I’m not surprised there’s only 1 dealer in Ireland with those prices. makes uk look like a bargain.
thats Interesting as my accountant said you can only claim if 100% business use and not to commute to main office ,so basically isn’t worth it . I do 12k miles a year, on octopus costs £450 a year . probably costs more in accountancy fees than trying to claim for 50% of business use.
45k on 20s change for winter. 2 cracked wheels from potholes ,seperate incidents. Tyres good wheels a joke . Looks like I’ve either been very unlucky or defective wheels. Porsche were having none of it.
im lookin for 21 spyder r/s black wheels at moment for summer if anyone knows a decent seller.
Nice car,That is a steal, keep telling people their great value at this level. Can’t see them falling much more from here. I can’t bring myself to sell mine as would only by the same again. Still puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. Good luck with the rr.
The last time mine was booked for warranty at dealer I bought from they offered a uber when they couldn’t supply a loan car. Would have cost over £100 each way . I refused until they had one, was in for a week.
I might of made it as was showing 90 miles range when I was there but m25 is majority of trip so I stopped at cobham Ionity. I had a soh last feb after a disastrous European trip. They said 83% ,Porsche warranty doesn’t kick in till 73% from memory it’s definitely in the 70s . I’ve done 45k...
Yes 1st EV ,had over 4 years now. Great car like everything apart from battery losing power. Took it to alps last 3 years ,cannot do now with the mileage you get from a charge if you drive like it should be. its a shame as i can’t see how this is the future unless they come up with a way to...
I was booked in yesterday for WRSO update and told wasn’t available yet ,rebooked for end April as they think they might have then! Getting nothing from Porsche. Hope it does something as I get real miles of 150-60 out of full charge. Says 200-215 .
