I got my update scheduled for February 2023. That was the earliest they could do it. I was told it would take one day. Unbelievable!

I contacted the dealership and sent them this photo. They say they’ll replace it. When I go there, I’ll ask them if this is a known issue and what causes it.

Hi. I have this strange problem with the rear light strip. See attached photo. It appears to crack up in the center and along the bottom edge. There is no sign of any external damage. I just wonder if any of you have had this problem, and if you got it fixed under warranty.

Turned out to be software related. The dealership updated the software (I don’t have any details), and now it works. Very odd.

I got ALK for my 2021 Taycan. It tried to install it, but I ended up having to go to a dealership to finalize the installation. It seems that the OTA installation is not very robust. Good luck to you!

Yes! I had to bring the car to a dealership, and they installed the update while I waited. Took about an hour or so. I suggest you contact your dealer. I'll be very hesitant to buy any further updates now... Good luck!
