Porsche Taycan Precool/heat: System fault C37EA149-7C0F-422E-8035-4C09AC2556B0

Have you seen this before, and do you know how to fix it? Cooling and heating of the car does work.

First of all: provide some more info like:
-what have you done already?
-is it the first time?
-under what circumstances does this appear?
-is it persistent?
-did you search for info on this forum already?

sorry…

I haven’t done anything else but turn the car off and on.

I don’t know how to approach this.

yes it is the first time and it doesn’t seem to go away. The error is persistent.

this message always appears when I enter the menu.

I did search both the forum and Google. I didn’t find anything related to this.

I don’t know if it is actually a fault or just buggy Software, since th pcm is full of quirks

Hi have you resolved this? I am having the same issue. I read a few other posts in this forum and several others have noted a similar message which has led to a bigger issue - a problem with cooling the battery (when the weather gets hotter) and a reduction in power and eventual turtle mode warning. Apparently a solenoid in the cooling system needs to be replaced.

Thanks for the info. I haven’t resolved it. I’ll take it to the dealership for a fix. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Turned out to be software related. The dealership updated the software (I don’t have any details), and now it works.
Very odd.

my taycan gave this error about 3 months ago, when I took it to the dealer they fixed the problem.

Took a drive tonight, outside temp 32 F/ 0 C, Only cold air blowing from cabin vents.
Got back home. I have the same message in PCM as in the original post: Precool/Heat: System Fault
When charging cable plugged in, cannot activate precool/heat function. Message is: "not available".
First time I have seen this. Will check if it persists/comes back.
