    Taycan 2 Year Service

I recommend you replace your own wiper blades and cabin filter and let the dealer do the brake flush. This will significantly reduce the cost. I paid about $200 for the wiper blades and cabin filter and about $300 for a brake flush at a Porsche dealer.

    Considering Canceling MY23 Taycan 4S

Get the 911 GTS. It will hold its value while the Taycan will sink like a rock.

    Taycan Sales Declining

The Taycan was a huge mistake as my 2015 911 is still holding its value while my 2021 Taycan is sinking like the titanic.

Best Taycan entry point? Need your advice.

I like my 2021 4s. It’s nicely equipped and listed for about $131,000. It’s plenty quick and handles great but I miss my 2015 911 cabriolet as it is worth almost what it cost when it was new and had one of the last normally aspirated 3.4L engines. The Taycan I will not hold its value like a...

Will there be a major PCM upgrade like 2022 update.

There are some software issues that need to be addressed but they can more than likely be done via an OTA update. For example, if you are using Favorites and Satellite Radio the steering wheel controls stop working. It requires you to go back and forth using FM radio to have it reset and...

Problems with Steering Wheel Controls for Radio

My service advisor figured out the issue is related to using a Favorites list for Sirius XM radio. The simple fix was to turn on the FM radio and then go back to Sirius and then not using Favorites. It is clearly a bug in the PCM software. I have stopped using my Favorites list so I do not...

Problems with Steering Wheel Controls for Radio

I have discovered a bug with the steering wheel controls that enable you to scroll through radio stations and make changes in the far right window in front of the driver on the dashboard. When I set and use Favorites, it gets disabled. It stays disabled until I go back and forth between...

    Charging Miles Degradation??

Yes, I am seeing the same with my 2021 Taycan 4S. It was charging to 218 miles at 85% and is now around 200 miles at 85%. It is a little over 1 year old and this seems unusual.

New campaign (WNA5) Power Electronics and DME Software Update

My air conditioner failed and the dealer replaced the three (3) refrigerant sensors. This was not done proactively but after they failed. The dealer did a great job replacing in one day. The car was built in Jan 2021 so it had the defective sensors with the blue paint mark.

    Broken A/C Club

Air conditioner stopped working after 14 months. Brought into dealer and they replaced the three (3) refrigerant sensors. Apparently the older sensors have a blue paint mark and are prone to failure. The dealer did an excellent job providing a loaner and fixing a car in a day. The cost would...

Taycan colour -- metallic black or Mamba Green

I like the black metallic. I live in Florida and also have the thicker glass to eliminate noise and heat. This offsets any issues with the black being overly hot when parked in the sun.

Latest Taycan Software Update Findings and Reviews Thread

I had my update performed on 8/3/22 and 8/4/22. It has worked well so far. The PCM is booting faster and the Homelink is now on the bottom of the screen rather than taking over the entire screen. It seems to be a very large update that addresses the appearance of the onboard screens as well...

3rd OTA Update (again called ONA6) for on-board-charger

I had my ANA6 update performed over 2 days. They apparently had an open issue on day 1 that I did not ask about. The update has improved the appearance and boot time of the PCM. It seems to have improved the PCM. I will post any further updates as I drive the car over the next week.
