Problems with Steering Wheel Controls for Radio

I have discovered a bug with the steering wheel controls that enable you to scroll through radio stations and make changes in the far right window in front of the driver on the dashboard. When I set and use Favorites, it gets disabled. It stays disabled until I go back and forth between satellite and FM radio. It then gets re-enabled. I am not sure why selecting and using radio (FM or Satellite) favorite disables the steering wheel controls? Has anyone else had this issue?

Is it possible that it is connecting to a device by default?

My service advisor figured out the issue is related to using a Favorites list for Sirius XM radio. The simple fix was to turn on the FM radio and then go back to Sirius and then not using Favorites. It is clearly a bug in the PCM software. I have stopped using my Favorites list so I do not have to perform this temporary hack of the software.

make sure your SA notifies big P officially of this. the kind of thing that can be fixed with an ota update in a few weeks. it will likely take months knowing P, but nevertheless.
