So, when I engage the electric sport sound, it’s quite good but when the volume raises the door panel (or something near it) buzzes or vibrates to give a horrible resonance. This is in the rear kerbside passenger area. Anyone know what this is? Can’t imagine it’s the speaker itself since the...
LOOOOOOL 4 months to fit the batteries
It’s so bad.
Tempted to drop 50 percent of the money on a BMW M5 Comp. Deposit is recoverable without a firm delivery date.
Two things from a 4S owner:
1) in motion acceleration is way more aggressive in sport mode
2) I’m CERTAIN it accelerates faster when the charge is more than around 70 percent.
Mine has been at the docks for ages. The docks are so full that they're not even sending cars there anymore - they're staying in the "compound" (whatever that is). Also, I'd imagine that cars at the docs either have batteries or will have them fitted first!
It's not just a first world problem though is it. It's being mugged off after dropping circa £100 grand on a car. Some people have saved up the money and it's a dream for them, others might be very well off, but ultimately you're handing over your treasure. The least you can expect is some...
UK GTS, where is your car now? Has it left the factory? Or is it sitting at the docks / a compound?
it’s not cool to have it sat at a dock for 8 weeks.
All I know is it’s winding me up. Very close to buying a used M8 for £40k less instead.
it’s weird how yours has apparently left the compound for the docks but it hasn’t arrived two weeks later. I’d shake the tree mate.
Your chart doesn’t indicate that it actually made it to Emden at all. Mine is at Emden and all I know is that it missed the scheduled departure.
I wonder if it’s being held somewhere other than the docs waiting for the 12v
They surely can’t expect people to accept cars that have been sat at the docks for four months. They can get right in the bin. I’d happily just buy a used Car instead.
It's funny. I was told that my car was delayed because of the 12v battery shortage and was being kept in a compound. Then, suddenly, six days later that was done and it went to Emden docks.
It's now fully "complete" with 12v battery (so that delay was literally 6 days) but has been at the Emden...
I think a few are unaffected. Mine hasn't slipped. My take is that the cars already *at* Emden are more or less on schedule but those which are sat in the random compound are being held back for the 6-8 week period whilst the 12vLi batteries are installed.
