Just an update on the original issue I posted, I took the car for inspection and the dealer replaced the spoiler control unit and it’s back to normal, didn’t pay a dime since it’s covered under warranty. The error is gone too.
Ambient temperature has a big impact on battery performance, also I think that CT is heavier and less aerodynamic.
Wow very good numbers!
We got a competition here haha.
Almost 540km, especially after doing more than 27000 km, is nice considering battery degradation (if that’s a thing or a big...
That might be true, but as I completed my road trip the numbers lined up pretty well with what the guessometer gave me in the first place.
Trip of almost 350km -> arrived with 30% and 150km range left.
Also the consumption was 17kwh per 100km during the trip.
The consumption for the trip was 17kwh per 100km.
I’ve done a trip of ~350km without charging, and the battery was at 30% when I arrived and 150km of range left.
The battery temperature was normal as well, fluctuating between 29-34 degrees.
Usually the guessometer gives me an estimate of...
So today I charged to 100% before going on a road trip and it was surprising to see the estimated range at 519km (which translates to 323miles)
I usually see around 450-480km of range with mixed driving but mostly highway.
Average consumption: 17kw per 100km
Ambient temperature: 27 Celsius...
It happened to me at first when I used 75% profile. It would charge to 72-73% and then stop.
Yesterday I tried direct charging and it stopped at 97%.
So it’s the same behavior whether using profiles or direct charging.
Hi Guys!
I charge using PMCC at home usually overnight, and recently I noticed that the car stops charging at 97% and the PMCC keeps trickle charging with less than 1kw. It never finishes and never crosses the 97%
When I drive the car it stays at 97% for quite some time (feels like it’s at 100%)...
This might seem a weird question but:
How do you turn off the headlights?
Sometimes it's around sunset and the headlights come on automatically, it's still not dark outside for them to turn on and I'd like to keep the signature daytime running lights ON instead (they look good).
In the manual it...
I had mine PPFed as well and what I can say after watching your videos is:
-The glue bits on the front means they had a hard time sticking the film on that part and they had to fix it instead of trying again with a new piece of wrap, they did a very bad job there.
-I have Suntek Reaction...
Okay, talked to my installer today, and he sounded like he knew about it already from past Porsches he worked on. He told me that he’ll use heat and “special” tools to remove them without leaving a residue or damaging the clear coat.
That’s what I wanted to hear. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I still didn’t talk to my installer about it yet, but I probably will tell them to take extra precautions when removing it, not to damage the paint. I read online that “experts” remove them with heat.
After I took delivery of my Taycan I noticed that there's a small protective film on the lower part of the rear doors.
I'm about to PPF wrap my Taycan and was wondering if this protective film is removable or if it is supposed to be removed before delivery by the dealership? Or maybe it's part...
Anyone? Seems like I’m the only one suffering this issue, couldn’t find any answers on the internet. I’m abroad and probably will have to give the dealer a visit once I’m back home.
Frustrating…
I woke up and started the car to be greeted with this message, now the spoiler is stuck at position 0 and doesn’t raise at high speeds nor in range mode, the manual cleaning position is also grayed out.
Any ideas how to solve this?
Did it happen to any of you guys?
Hi,
I'm trying to find the location of the VIN number on the chassis body.
I found a sticker in the frunk, but I'm looking for the VIN that's embossed onto the chassis.
Any ideas where?
