Agreed but I was hoping for a simple elegant solution from Porsche, not that I have split the file myself. How is the average user meant to deal with this?

Plus if you view the file on VLC you can select the two different video channels, but you can't save the second channel.

Thanks for the response but it is one file. If you google you will see that many other dash cams do the same. I have viewed every file on the SD and there are no rear view files, and yes I have checked the sub directories, hence I started googling and posting here. Again thanks
