No, SoH is near perfect 100%. When I got the car new the estimated range was 1015 km, now it's maybe around 990 km. The estimated range just depends on previous driving style. My wife was driving it back and forth to the office in dence city traffic, so thats why the "real" range is that much...
I have/had 6+ EVs from all kinds of brands and sizes over the past 10 years. There is no weak link. It's a car I use in my life like any other car I used before!!! The huge upside: I can charge at home and never have to rush to find a stinking gas station. The only reason I frequent a gas...
"Deal" as in shakedown, right?
The way I understand CATL now works is, they supply the entire pack, and then also offer warrenty. If any car/battery fails, they will send their tech out to figure out what happens. They are offer this, because they are confident, that that should never happen...
My Zeekr 001 with 140kWh battery charges faster than I can go for a piss and buy the next coffee for another 600km highway driving which I can never handle on one day anyway! The pitstop is totally irrelevant!
My Zeekr 001 with 140kWh battery has a better range vs my previous Audi A7 75l tank...
I doubt Porsche is up to speed with the new Cayenne EV. After "InnoDrive" they gave up on all this, or do they have a partnership with NVIDIA like Mercedes has, in order to offer better assist system?
This is Porsche speak saying we hate EVs, we wish we never have to build or sell another one, please never by any EVs from us!
The kWh for battery pack finished in China has droped over 95% in price over the past 10 years.
Gosh, that is so way way off the mark, I even don't know what I can...
I don't think so, and it is NOT what the "world" wants. The world wants cheap transport and the BEV is now unbeatable, particularly if you have solar on your shed to charge for free.
Unfortunately, because it will hurt them in the long run!
I don't think the battery is the weakest technical link in EVs. Batteries are already cheap, safe, and long-lasting, and they keep getting better. This is no longer the real issue - it’s already a thing of the past.
The weak link is AI...
Even if Porsche made a really good EV, I prefer buying from Brands which take EVs seriously and want to compete in this space. The EVs from Porsche so far have been a real let down, and by the looks it wont get better now...
My wife is blown away by the car robot she is driving at the moment...
Wow, I pay avarage 33 cents per kWh in Munich and I am begin ripped off! I pay 9.8 cents per kWh in China, no increase in 25 years.
I've heard that in Ethiopia, they pay 0.5 cents per kWh. A full charge with 95 kWh would cost there just 48 cents - less than half a dollar!
I mostly agree with you. But:
The MS90D I had many years ago was a total desaster and it shouted, that the car was made by people know nothing!
My Taycan shows clearly the lack of experience Porsche had in making a great EV. The batteries at least of the early versions, a total disaster. The...
I agree, the Macan came 2 years late and would have needed early next year a facelift with new tech in platform and interior to compete. These companies still don't understand EV development!
