Bringing back an old thread here. Has anyone played around more with mounting locations on Taycan’s with the thermal glass? I have a 2024 with thermal glass and I have tried my V1 and R8 radar detectors in various places (including the “designated areas”) and honestly not sure they’re working...

My wife is (understandably) frustrated this is still in the garage. Lowered price to move this!

Oh how I wish we had more options for the left most cluster. (Like what is available in the right) I’d really settle for battery level and such in the right and radio media info options in the left

It must be that the EA stations around me have no cell connectivity. And is your car chalk?

Please let me know if this works for you. I’ve had 0% success with EA. The locations around me have always been out of service or they are “unable to connect to a server”.

Also has this issue. Had to turn off the car let it sit then back on, start on the FM radio and adjust the volume to your liking then go back to CarPlay. Buggy software is buggy. ?

Is your car equipped with the 19.2kw charge option?

Ok, folks in California with FasTrak, where do you have yours mounted? I have mine mounted in the area highlighted in the manual (similar to where others have shown theirs posted here) but its not being read by the toll system on the freeways (101 in nor-cal specifically).

2024 GTS ST, mine auto locks if I walk away after about a minute or two. Put the key in the house and walked out to test it after the car beeped and it’s intact locked. (I have the comfort access option)

Ah that option just shows what station is playing. Rather useless compared to the station, artist, track etc when a passenger is in the car

This no longer works. Has anyone with a 2024 taycan and passenger screen found a way to get it to stay on? I was able to get it to turn on one time by pushing a sequence of random things (AC control, power button, park, then drive) but I’ve not been able to replicate it. There has to be a way...

I also have a 2024 but I seem to have the timer options in my car. I too have the ChargePoint Flex at home. That being said, even thought I set the charge limit to 85% the car keeps charging to 100%. Direct charge is not selected and I have my general profile set to 85%. Any idea what might be...
