    Anyone with PIWIS?

Battery maintainers would not be the right tool for this as it would not have enough output to prevent a voltage drop. There are DIY solutions that use a PC power supply but the best off-the-shelf product I found for this and trusted by many PIWIS coders (mainly on Rennlist) is this: Schumacher...

Successful Matrix headlight activation for US Taycan

ASB2 - there’s some discussion here of matrix functionality being disabled and Mars @ RennAuto has figured a way to code it back: https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1510126-porsche-recall-asb2-more-than-i-expected.html

Picture please, Taycan Cross Turismo In Factory “Low” Height Setting

Porsche's image of the CT in the configurator is the car with the "low" suspension setting. Here is mine.

PCA's Cannon Beach 3-day tour with my family- was the only EV in a group of ~60 Porsche cars. Destination hotel had 6 EVSEs (4 Tesla 16kw chargers, 2 CCS) which was great. For this trip, I only used the Supercharger at Kelso, WA (after finding the 4 EA chargers were occupied) and the Tesla...

Successfull Tesla Supercharger Plug and Charge

First attempt with Porsche NCAS DC adapter at the nearby IKEA just for the sake of testing it and was surprised to see Plug & Charge work :D. I charged at peak charge rate period so it was not cheap (and there were plenty of EA chargers behind the Superchargers) but did it to validate...

    Anyone with PIWIS?

Yes see all my posts on this same thread- high-beam assist twilight settings, steering wheel heating set temperature, etc. Here’s one I had thought of posting: BCM2: terminal_control: deactivation_time_kl15 KL15 refers to accessory powered state (with engine/motor not running) The default...

    Anyone with PIWIS?

I updated my original post to note the 20ms increment constraint. https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/anyone-with-piwis.20946/page-8#post-517726 Mine is currently set to 60ms and I’m quite happy with it.

    Brakes feel soft

for J1.1, this is the brake booster TSB: WPK0 - Re-Programming PSM Control Unit (Workshop Campaign): https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-11007026-0001.pdf I mentioned here previously: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/braking-while-downshifting.33926/page-2#post-527223 I've...

What do you do with your Porsche Mobile Connector?

I'm in the minority and use the PMCC in the Porsche Charging Dock as my primary EVSE. It's replaced a Tesla Gen 3 Wall Connector (now kept in a box), plugged into a NEMA 14-50 outlet, and it's easy to unplug should that ever be needed (ex. if service asks for it). The previous owner of my car...

Sound Deadening Noise Reduction wheel wells

@mystermykee I have never tried Resonix products. I have used Noico products (from Amazon) in the past on my Tesla but using Second Skin Audio products exclusively on my Taycan- more expensive but superior (ex. MLV is made of new virgin rubber, made in USA), less chemical off-gassing and easier...

Sound Deadening Noise Reduction wheel wells

Sound treatment inside the doors makes a substantial improvement on road noise. If you've looked inside your doors (https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/electric-sport-sound-option-should-you-get-it.31058/page-3#post-479314), it's almost a drum. Performing to all 4 doors is worth the...

    Braking while downshifting

@freinando I experienced something similar and had my service center look at it closely. There was a ""Found optional update for brake booster. Performed program update for brake booster from software 0131 to 0190"". You might want to check if you can have this update applied.

    9 systems errors at once

What you see there is the remote terminal post (meant for jumper cable connection). The black plastic cover can slide upwards to expose the actual positive terminal. See: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/routing-ctek-cable.23342/#post-517913 Use gloves and check both of those terminals...

    9 systems errors at once

Can you check your battery terminals if they are secured tightly? A wide range of errors can come up when the 12V is drained or disconnected and car momentarily switches to the HV battery as failover. The errors will persist until the fault codes are cleared, ex. via OBD tool or MapEV Diag tool

Online radio/Apple Music & Podcast/Spotify not working - "To use this service, please register at MyPorsche"

Same issue for me- Apple Music in the PCM is what I use and currently just using pure wireless CarPlay for streaming music from my phone as a workaround. To me this smells like SSL certificate expiration issue on Porsche’s back-end. I hope their technical team figures this out and gets a quick...

    Project Purple - MY2026 Taycan CT4

@Bennachie before you begin, it's probably safest to put a towel between the wiper and your glass, as you may happen to remove the wiper blade from the arm during this process, and you don't want to to risk glass damage. The first tab to remove is the one I have highlighted in red in these...

    HD Matrix lights in action

Matrix is amazing, but even in the OP's video, if you look closely you'll see it blind the opposing driver and shines on the entire car, roof and tailgate included, for about a second. This is from the main/high beam, which is controlled by the matrix light system and likely would not be...
