On my return trip from a second home which is 170 miles away I decided to test the high-speed charging so I disabled battery friendly and pulled in at 32% which I would have thought was way too high to start a good charging session. to my surprise it ramped up to 250 kW within 10 seconds and...

One charging stop with anxiety, I was originally routed to North Platte, Nebraska but when I was only about 20 minutes away, it disappeared from the Navigation. Then I got a message, saying I was not able to reach a Charger. This was on September 26 which appears to be the day that ABB had a...

Yesterday I was at the Ohio State Reformatory. Though it should be known for the number of executions that were performed in the facility, it’s probably best known for the movie backgrounds it was used for. Most notably the Shawshank Redemption, but also used in part of Air Force One.
this...
Claimed to be the longest pedestrian and bicycle bridge in the world, certainly in North America at over 4300 feet.
It’s located in a Little Rock Arkansas and named “The Big Dam Bridge”. This was one more stop on my probably 7000 mile cross country journey.
Next to the bridge is a hydroelectric...

I did get the Porsche rails and 520L box over a year ago, but never took it out until today. I have a standard journey of about 160 miles reasonably flat. A week ago about the same time of day. I got 355Wh/mi and today with roof box I got 420Wh/mi so an 18% hit on range. Speed was fairly...
Picked up on Thursday and added 700 miles by Friday evening. Charging port is back in business. They were also able to address my intermittent problems with the parking cameras. 500 miles to add tomorrow and many more to go.
The Taycan is charging like a boss, at Bjørn would say.
Well I should be EV getting my car back from service tomorrow after 8 days.
I am hoping all is fixed as I have over a thousand miles planned in the next 7 days.
They had ordered a door latch/lock which I assume has sensors in it also.
The car is quite complex and has so many interlocks for...
