I’m kinda holding out for release of a GTS having traded in my Gen1 Turbo and a 4S on provisional order! As production is imminent I’m going to have to make my decision soon -
Has anyone heard murmurs of GTS gen2 release? 🤔

I've checked the France...
I did a similar lengthy trip from Ireland via Chester to Northampton recently. I charged at IONITY Citynorth near Dublin, Gridserve Chester & Rugby. There seemed to be an immeasurable positive difference in allowing the car to prepare for a charging stop (using Porsche charging planner) when it...
My Jan 2022 supplied Taycan Turbo is presently in Porsche dealership for replacement heater …. I think it’s scheduled as a 5hr job! Dealer was prepared to do this work at short notice (hint towards lots of Taycans getting this replacement) but I convenienced them by dropping the car for 5 days...
Anyone face any issues booking Silverstone Porsche Driving Experience due to voucher being more than 24/30mths? (Also if you’ve 2 vouchers as I’ve bought 2 Taycans can you book 2 free places for yourself and a friend same day?)
Maybe as much the Turbo S depreciation as anything else.
I’ve a Taycan Turbo and looked at range for GTS ST and it chilled my interest straightaway. Perhaps I’d be in greater shock if I was looking at trade in value of my 2022 Turbo too!
It’s a volatile market with semi conductor issue...
With bumpy supply issues and lead times plus £0 road licence fee (& not forgetting driver eagerness to enjoy the new car) and of course potential for dealer to get the trade in vehicle that’s maybe part of the deal then it’s hard to see many drivers awaiting their new Taycan delay more than a...
Have you tried posting this on a Merc EQE forum to see the general theme of (Merc forum) members reactions? 😂
I’m not surprised the overwhelming response here is “go Taycan” …
and as Vim says, the specifics of matrix table and weighting is fine just to ‘whet’ the thought processes, but the...
This is worth a relaxing view if you’ve an hour to spare … there are always a few features that dealer fails to mention or owner doesn’t quite grasp given the extent of features and customisation!
I’d a 4S for 18mths before my present Turbo.
The prior car comfortably manages 170/180 mile round trips whilst current Turbo simply doesn’t. Its created an anxiety I wasn’t accustomed to!
My mileage on present Turbo at recommended 85% charge is 180 miles (as pictured) but as others mentioned...
Yeah … good shout rear wheel steer for improved handling and manoeuvrability! The car is a brute and anything that aids parking and turning in tight spaces is both practical and spares driver blushes!
Pay the deposit and say nothing and then hold your ground once the new car comes in (List price for GTS you spec less £100k offer for your trade in 4S) and don’t budge! (That would be my stance)
Best of luck as it sounds a great opportunity to get the 4S swapped out to the GTS in ST body style...
Totally correct … it’s been arguably an abuse of position by ESB although they hide behind the “we’ve only recently owned the network” but it’s not helped by an awkward process of planning and connection to the grid and the biggest joke is “free public charging” which is exploited by many taxi...
Maybe this adds more perspective to DC public charging that’s slowly becoming more available across N.Ireland …

Well, my quick view on this (not least as it’s a crazy day to stop to write on this cracker forum) is:
Very hard to get trade in value for extras added to any car - most especially luxury vehicle brands like Porsche. So residual on a GTS might be lots better than a loaded 4S.
I’ve a Taycan...
