Never had any charging issues what so ever and the plug and charge functionality with Ionity chargers is seamless.
I really dont understand why people have an issue with this. Whats wrong with it, exactly? Put the phone, drive, stop, take the phone out...
I dont have one of these but the...
My dealer has come back to me to confirm that they did full brake fluid change when doing the brake hose recall and they have invoiced Porsche for it so it's not required. They've also brought the price down from £625 to £508 for the rest.
I'll be asking them to record the brake fluid change in...
My gripe is that they’re charging me £600 to replace a pollen filter and look over the car. Pricing for an EV should be less then what O pay on my ICE cars. I can’t help feeling that they’re protecting their service revenue by pricing it around the same, even though there’s less work to be done.
Glasgow have just quoted me for £600 excluding brake fluid change as they don’t think it needs done after the brake hose recall. Perth want £825 saying that it does need done regardless.
I feel I’m being ripped off on both fronts.
My Taycan didn't come with ambient lighting. Without this option, the only lighting on whilst driving (on the doors) is a lighting strip in the door pockets and one in the recess for the door handle.
The door car itself has gap that runs along the bottom of the leather/racetex section along the...
Ended up ditching the strip and used 12v LED tape, stuck inside the void where the ambient strip would be. Took a feed from the door handle light. Stuck with cool white to match the rest of the interior lighting. They're dimmable and dim up and down via the controls on the PCM.
Wee bit too...
Just got my car back from the OPC on Friday after it being in for the Brake Hose Recall. They also fitted a new heater (even though mine has been fine since I bought the car - looks like they're changing everyone's to the new variant regardless).
My car also had a software update to reduce the...
Wasnt specced on mine, but Ive got everything apart from the vehicle lock button on the boot. Someone else I know is in the same boat but they do have the vehicle lock button, but it doesnt do anything.
Front wheels, front arch-liners and headlights need to be removed. I think you'd then need to take the whole front bumper off to remove these without risking damage. I DIY'd the front Sports Design lip and took the front end off to do it but I can't remember how the "tears/air vents" are...
Activating features on demand that are pre-mapped to an an existing platform is very different from physical hardware retrofits that rely upon various dependencies to work properly.
Why would a car manufacturer, that makes money from selling cars built in it's factories, after investing money to bring out a new version of their product so that new and existing customers will buy it, allow existing owners to add these features to products that have already been sold?
It's...
Could not care less. If I wanted range, I wouldn't have bought a Taycan and the range that I'm getting is fine for my needs. It replaced an M5 so economy has never been my concern.
I get around 190 miles range from 100% battery. I drive it like a lunatic as much as possible. It pretty much lives in Sport Plus mode (even when in Individual). I've only ever used "Range" mode once, by accident and I have the seat and steering wheel heaters on with abandon!
It costs me £6.50...
Serious question. Why do people need their phone in front of them when the car Carplay/Android Auto and a hands free system? Mine lives in the factory wireless charger when I'm in the car. I cant think of a reason why I'd need it mounted elsewhere.
