I got a text message from my dealer saying it's almost time for my 1 year service... Anyone else get this? I thought I just needed to do the 2 year service. Seems like they're just trying to sucker me.
Has anyone tried leaving the front hood unlocked while away? I'm going to be gone for about 6 weeks and honestly still don't know if I should leave the car plugged in or not and what percentage charged I should set it to. However, since its in my garage, I'm thinking of leaving the hood...
Taycan 4S with the Performance battery plus. I realistically probably got closer to 280 miles as I was driving a bit on the fun side to show off the car.
Just a clarification, you don't need to use the key fob. You can touch the door to lock it and the car turns off as well. This has been the way I've turned off the car since the day I got it. I never press the power button. I've never had any issues.
Looks good! Do you have standard brakes? If so, any concern about rust showing through with those types of wheels? I'm tempted to get something similar but the thought of seeing a bunch of rust has made be hold off.
I'm looking for quality 19-inch aftermarket wheels around the $600 per wheel price range (trying to keep the wife happy). I wanted to go with Vossen, but they told me they only do 20-inch and bigger in their hybrid forged selection. Anything in the forged line is several thousand per wheel and...
Thanks for the information. I am looking to spend a little less and go with the anthracite color with the volcano grey and reuse the 19 inch tires that came with the car. Anyone know if I keep the tires do I need another set of TPMS sensors and valve stems?
I'm looking to get a set of 19 inch wheels and their price on Vossens seem to be a bit too good to be true. Anyone try these guys out? If not, any recommendations on who has good prices on them?
Yes the other brands are cheaper in the US than the Porsche charger. I don't have any experience with the PWCC but from the comments on this forum, it sounds like the other brands are more reliable than the Porsche brand in the US as well. PWCC is $1670 USD, I bought my ChargePoint for $700...
Hardwire the ChargePoint EVSE and call it a day. It's expensive, but works great and will give you piece of mind. Just make sure to get a 60amp circuit.
I have a volcano grey exterior with standard black interior and red seat belts. I want to pick up a set of rubber floor mats but I can't decide the color. Does anyone have a picture of a black interior with gray floor mats? My gut reaction is keep it simple and go black mats too.
Thank you! Boy it was a long journey! And thanks for all the advice about sticking with it. The car is a blast. Unfortunately I'm traveling overseas and can't drive it. But it was a great time to drop it off at the shop for PPF until I get back next week.
So I decided to go with the Enphase charger. I was concerned about the Grizzl-E being aluminum and the risk of corrosion. It's super expensive, but that piece of mind being in such a harsh environment is worth it to me for now. I ordered it from Amazon. Hope it works as advertised!
Is the Grizzl-E powder coated aluminum? I'm worries about the aluminum corroding in the salt air. I left a can of paint outside once and it corroded within a day or two.
