2025 taycan 4s ct

Hi all,

Took delivery of an off the lot 25 4s ct. The car didn’t come with sports chrono, but decent options otherwise. This is my first electric car. I have a couple of questions for the group and am in the north east United States.
1) does my car have performance plus battery? I don’t see it as an option but says the max hp is 590 with launch control. I also don’t see the performance plus battery as an option on new 4s ct in the configurator.
2) my car is equipped with acc, thought I could add innodrive/ ALK through FOD, but it’s not available to me. Porsche support was clueless why I don’t have it, said maybe check back in a few weeks. Disappointing and more disappointed that support sounded like I’m the first person asking for this.

Other than that, the car has been fantastic so far.

All CTs have PB+ (106kW gross)

FOD is "dead" and not even mentioned / promoted by Porsche these days. You have to specifically select the appropriate option:

Thank you for the clarification.

I checked in Porsche connect the day before delivery, it had bunch of features available to buy over the air for the model. Once I got my Porsche Id, they went away. False advertising.

same thing happened to me, call cs support number on the app. features on demand are still in there , but you have to access the menu in a different way. The porsche rep walked me through it and i bought active lane keep for $952 , when i got in my car to drive home from work, it was automatically installed . however the system is wayyyy behind my tesla model s basic autopilot. and its sort of a waste of money getting the porsche system . if i could have gotten a now defunct monthly subscription , i would have tried it for a month first and then cancelled. if i could return this and get a refund , i would . but too late now.

+1 to what @alik says above. I did try the free trial monthly subscription on my 4S CT a year or two ago and had a very similar impression. To be fair, it’s not awful. It works “reasonably” well. But the deal killer for me was how rabid the system was about requiring hands back on wheel after just 30 seconds or so. I would actually spend very little time with my hands completely off the wheel, but when the system was active I preferred to just lightly rest my fingertips on the wheel. The system isn’t sensitive enough to sense that so it was constantly nagging. When the free trial ended I cancelled the subscription.

How long ago was this? I recall someone said the features were pulled eoy 2024

Just did a quick check. While there doesn't appear to be a way to access "Function on Demand" from the Porsche app anymore, if you go to the Porsche USA website and login to your account, you can see the service offerings there.
